You know, I don't get the idea behind these timers. How is this supposed to create more hype then an actual announcement? I don't know about you guys, but I will probably have forgotten about this whole thing in an hour or so if I'm not reminded.
It's not like I'm going to be all "what is this DD supposed to be" all week. And people that will are in for a big disappointment, as their fantasies will have topped everything Capcom could ever come up with.
Honestly, I think it does more harm then good. To every game designer/publisher everywhere: Don't think you are clever, just announce the damm thing. With a trailer, if possible. that will have a way better effect.
Double Dragon is a Taito IP, and Dead Or Alive is Team Ninja's property. So I doubt it's either of those.

Some of the best of the genre, IMO. I'd totally be excited if they got an HD rerelease, say, for Live Arcade.
Seems unlikely they'd make a hype countdown for that, though. And a new game is epically unlikely, with Atari holding the D&D license.

My best guess is still Breath Of Fire: Dastardly Dragons.

They've done Dungeons And Dragons before, but I don't think they still have the license. If it's an existing IP, Breath Of Fire is most likely, but I think a new IP is more likely still
