Space Rangers

I play Space Rangers 2 again (as Feyan) and decided to make tread about that series.

Any troper play this game?

Space Rangers 2 is awesome, but only if you put the dominators on the super hard mode. When you're fighting a geurilla war in space with only a handful of friendly systems left, that's when the fun begins.

One time, I landed on an uninhabited planet and left a weight on the "next turn" button. For a few hours. When I returned, it was a few hundred years in the future, (I guess future humans are very long-lived) the dominators controlled almost the entire galaxy and everyone was flying around in ships approximately nine million times more advanced than mine. I reloaded.

Good game, fun times.

Yes making Dominators 200% hard is best way to play (and having research on slowest mode). But most time Coalition have some thing between 30-40% of space, horever I start fighting them so maybe it reason Dominators stop advansing. Later when I have mega powerfull ship Coalition start wining but on that dificulty they propably never drive Dominator back.

I that's why I love this game, Hopeless War when only victory is thants to me. And way how you can beat Dominators. I always confince Keller to go looking for Klissans, Blazer to land of planet and Terron to convert star. Blowing them up is not that interesting or cool. I especally like how Terron is defeated, when all Terronids go back to Glafargar system and fly to the star, thats badass.

I like also how that game have feal of perfect (for me) MMO, but only in single player.
