Resident Evil 4/Code: Veronica X HD Remakes

I'm sure most of you have heard about them. In Japan they're being released on a disk, in PAL and US they're being released as downloadable titles.

Here's some recently leaked HD gameplay footage of 4(and when paired with the officially released screenshots, it looks legit)

So the difference is that they said it's in HD? Seems like a waste of money.

Wow, now that I've actually seen it it kinda looks like crap.

Also, if they make this remake without any improvements to the gameplay, I will be a very sad man.
