'How is it the Empire lets us keep stealing these things?'

Crow: There's a plot?They don't. That's why it's called stealing.

Like an Old Married Couple - the episode. Or Tempting Fate - the episode.
Is it just me or has Ezra's writing been much better this season? During the first one I often found him cocky and annoying, but now he is...cocky and entertaining. His lines work. I already thought about it during last week's ep when he was in the middle of the standoff between the two girls.
Also, you gotta love how Genre Savvy Kallus has become. If Imperial regulations had allowed him to arrive on the scene drinking a cocktail, slouching in the pilot's seat with his feet on the console board, he would have done it.
Maybe the writing has improved because of the new writers they brought on? This episode was by Matt Michnovetz, who has always been one of my favourite Clone Wars writers (he wrote the Citadel, Umbara and for unaired stuff Kashyyyk and Siege of Mandalore arcs), and I think he might be shaping up to be my favourite Rebels writer as well. Both The Lost Commanders (and Relics of the Old Republic, but that was Steve Melching, who is also returning from TCW and wrote the popular B-Wing episode) and Stealth Strike are probably my favourite Season 2 episodes so far, in fact. Or maybe I'm just biased towards Rex. XD

Attack of the Clones got good only when the actual Clones stated attacking things.
And I'm going to guess that Kanan X Rex will become a thing after this episode.
Edit: Oh and great fan art by Sabine on the Shuttle.

I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.I gotta say, Rex throwing the worthless stormtrooper helmet in disgust and beaning a Mook in the head with it might be my favorite funny moment in the entire series.
That whole bit fires the joke rapid fire, and is really funny for it.
Also, this week could also be called "Just in Case You Weren't Convinced Chopper is badass: The Episode" Wait for it, indeed.

Awesome awesome awesome.
I can't believe we're already on episode ten. The consistent schedule this time around is really fantastic, but I don't know how a longer season will work out.
Geez, looks like whatever they did after ten&eleven attracted attention. Also... Ahsoka. Lightsaber. Battle.
Crow: There's a plot? It's confirmed! The show has been renewed for a third season!
WOOHOO!
Crow: There's a plot?Great news indeed. I just hope the crew haven't already pitched the Big Duel as the season 2 finale.
We beat the Weisman curse.
Weisman actively left to avert the curse. Besides, if they didn't renew the show, Chopper would have gone on a killing spree.

Crow: There's a plot?Goodness, lots of news today.
Crow: There's a plot?S3? Nice!
Ezra: 'Eyyyyy!'
Alrighty then.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. As far as Ezra goes, it seems like they're banking less on him being the newcomer audience surrogate this season (which is a relief) and given him an actual role as "sneaky jedi," and keeping it fresh by making him the cocky young-gun at the same time. So now he doesn't feel like an extraneous part of the team.
