I think she really did hear a voice. Zanza would totally advocate only pure-blooded High Entia, because only they would turn into Telethia when he demanded.

Almost done with my second playthrough. I could finish it, but instead I'm derping around doing endgame quests. I want to at least get all the heart-to-hearts before I finish.

...Or at least, that's what I WAS doing. I'm playing Ni no Kuni right now, and it's been a few days since I touched Xenoblade. Need to make sure I don't stop completely though.

Well, she only really appears for a second. Also, it's been over a month since release, and I'm pretty sure it's near impossible to find this game other than E Bay con men, so we probably won't be getting any new players.

So I picked up this game back up after being preoccupied with KIU for a long long time. Got some sidequests done, and got Shulk's fourth Skill Tree, from a quest. (Had Desiree become a Soldier after discovering that telling her to become a Sculptor had... consequences.) I beat the guardian, so I was allowed to progress further in Satorl Marsh. Except I had to stop because my Wii Remote Batteries ran out. Darn. Will pick the game back up next week once I get some new ones.

Speaking of which, what's the importance of Skill Trees? Just some extra attributes that'll help in battle?

Yeah basically.

They eventually get really really good. And the Skill Link system lets other party members tide certain skills from other party members they have good Affinity with. This can be anything from giving Shulk the ability to use heavy armor, to giving Dunban a skill that boosts all his stats when he has no gems.

Dunban plays best naked.

That reminds me: Does that skill work well for Melly? If you're playing her right, she doesn't need armour anyway.

Not really. A lot of her best weapons come with gems auto-equipped. Plus the gems do stuff like increasing the damage her Fire and Thunder attacks do.

Ooh boy, Makna Forest is really pretty! Those are some sweet moves you got there Alvis.

Okay, I just got Melia... and I'm not too sure on how to use her. I just summon elementals, and occasionally attack with them? Also the game won't let me remove her hat for some reason.

Guide to using Melia

She's pretty effective once you get the hang of her.

The hats there for plot.

She gets way more useful when you get summon water.
