FIFA's Constant Omari has confirmed that Germany bought the 2006 World Cup.
What's precedent ever done for us?May they have found a peaceful place. Let's never forget that, since stadiums are now safer.
Oh dear. And I thought the Germans would be the exception.
Bob Saget is now the top choice for new leadership in FIFA, according to TIME Magazine.◊
So it is looking more and more like five more years of Dear Leader.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Dear lord, seriously? I get that CAF and AFC fully support the Fat Swiss Bastard, but even they should know that FIFA corruption is finally being cracked down on. Should be interesting to see how the trials of the indicted officials go and whether any of them would rat out other FIFA officials (including Fat Swiss Bastard) to save their own skin. At least RICO should help the case. (Munching on popcorn)
BTW, I think these events have convinced me to boycott all future FIFA events (including this year's Women's World Cup) as well as EA Sports' FIFA franchise until further notice. I for one have seen just about enough from the Fat Swiss Bastard and FIFA itself is going to crumble if he doesn't leave anyway. So I apologize in advance if I don't post anything on FIFA tournaments in this thread. At least Euro 2016 is going to be a killer tournament...

Together, we are one.You guys can watch the election here live.
EDIT: And the bastard is speaking (in French)!
Choice quote: "We don't need revolution, we need evolutions!"

Wish I could embed this in the cytube chat. Would've been easier to discuss it without 28,000+ people posting messages at once.
I meant embedding it there now, for us—everyone right here that's following this current buzz. No matter, though... FIFA only wants people watching this on the YouTube page.

It's a bit boring, though. Not sure if the Cytube group we're part of would enjoy it.
But yeah, Blatter is basically saying: "I want to continue, I can fix this, honest!"
The voting is about to begin.
What a soothing muzak!

Voting has started.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Just noticed North and South Korea flags are hanging side-by-side above the assembly.
And the chat is going on about how Ali is an American puppet.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I think that's just one guy. Blatter Blather is the main point of discussion.
Along with the flag of Kosovo. That can't have made many people happy.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Kosovo is not a member of FIFA. Maybe you confused it with another flag?

Isn't it the one next to Kenya on the opposite side to BEST KOREA?
"Yup. That tasted purple."See the edit.
Ah, it's Kazakhstan.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I'm gonna be absent for a couple of hours, so if someone can show the results here, that'd be great.
Ditto. Until then, time for some chants to sing along to:
- "Get out of FIFA! Get out of FIFA! YOU
FAT SWISSCORRUPT BASTARD! GET OUT OF FIFA!!!" - "And now you're gonna believe us, and now your gonna believe us. And now you're gonna believe uuuuuus! THAT FOOTBALL IS CORRUPT! That football is corrupt! (clap x2) That football is corrupt! (clap x2)"
- (in the tune of the Liverpool chant) "Blatter out! Blatter out!"

Together, we are one.In the meantime, after Jack Warner left prison in an ambulance and was taken to a hospital for "exhaustion", he appeared at a political rally in Port of Spain just hours later(!), danced on stage(!!!), and publicly suggested that he isn't a guilty party (!!!!!)
The guy is either insanely defiant or has THE worst legal council of anyone of his stature.

I don't know how pointing out that he's Swiss helps. Calling him fat is just pointing out something equally irrelevant (at best). Nothing to say about the "bastard", though.
But really. I don't know why people have to make things personal. Just point out that he's corrupt and that he's a liar and a criminal. That's accurate and relevant, and doesn't resort to commenting on his nationality or appearance.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.Waiting for second source on the Germany thing but...eh...Giving that if it was 06 it was most likely done in the Era Schröder, I'd honestly not be surprised in the slightest.
Not the first time Genosse Gerhard would have done something financially shady.

"You can reply to this Message!"Fair enough. Coming to think of it, "YOU CORRUPT BASTARD" is a better substitution. Still, might as well get the forum singing and hoping that FIFA would actually change for once regarding FSB (not using Blatter's name moving forward when referring him).
Two more for tropers to enjoy:
- (In tune of Bradford City's Everywhere We Go, if you're boycotting FIFA) "Not a penny moooore! Not a penny moooore! FIFA is corrupt! FIFA is corrupt! Not a penny moooore!"
- (In tune of Tom Hark) "We love football and we hate Blatter! We love football and we hate Blatter!"

Together, we are one.Voting has gone to run-off.
Dear Leader only lost out on a first-round super-majority by the spoiled ballots.
"Yup. That tasted purple."
Today is thirty years since the Heysel Stadium Disaster. Tragically, this anniversary is horribly under-commemorated.
If the article is paywalled, see here.
