Also tapes are the new codec, that is your new source for background info. I listen to them as I go to the way of my objectives.

Details about the cut 51st mission (massive spoilers, of course). As far as cut content goes it sounds rather pivotal, I wonder why they left it out.

Continue playing until you reach the end of Mission 14 and unlock Side Op: Visit Quiet. You’ll need to head back to Mother Base and make your way to the medical platform. Once you arrive at the helipad, head down the stairs in front of it to find her waiting in her cell. Now all you need to do is call the helicopter back to the pad so that you can leave the area. This will trigger a cut scene between Snake and Quiet. Once the cut scene has come to an end Quiet will be available.

Also DD can apparently get a kinfe/stun-knife as an upgrade later on...

I have a mild feeling the issues inside Konami lately have lead to some content being cut as further delay was no longer possible...

Quite fight went from Imposible, to stupid easy.

With one weapon.

3 body shots, from all the way across the map, and I captured her, with the total expenditure of mission gear...

3 bullets, as in nothing else was used.

That's the cheap way to do it. You're supposed to be running and crying and diving from cover to cover to get in close enough to use stun grenades like I did. Nice and terrifying.

Hey, you guys know how the Japanese toy studio Sen-Ti-Nel announced they were making a figure of Metal Gear ST-84◊ a while back?

You guys think the figure will transform like the one in the game?

For those of you who thought the game had a rather abrupt ending with a ton of loose plot points, it looks like the Collector's edition "Behind the Scenes" bonus features holds the reason: a LOT of stuff, including a 51st mission, got cut. if you want the details, check out the link below.

So just did Mission 11. didn't have the tranq sniper, so tried to do it the old fashioned way and sneak up on her under the cover of sandstorm. Almost got her a couple of times, but she managed to jump just before I could shoot. So then I decided to play the game the right way and drop a supply box on her head.

REALLY hard to say at this point. Konami hasn't mentioned much, if anything in regards to what type of DLC the Phantom Pain is going to get... if any. And given how the cut mission changes a few important details from the current ending, Kojima would have to pull something similar to ME 3's Extended cut and retcon what he's already made. Not likely to happen, especially since he's probably already resigned.
