Not to mention: Electrocuted, gassed, choked, being shot with rubber bullet (my favorite), blinded, deafened, verbally abused (SPIT IT OUT!)....

You can not interrogate, slam or choke a child, Miller will not let you grab em like that.

With rifle. From behind. Granted, said rifle only filled with rubber rounds, but poor kid doesn't know any better.
Or make it less painful for the kid if he starts going uppity.
Yes, you can't put sleeper hold on them, but you can slam them just fine. I do it all the time on White Mamba Mission.
No female child soldier. Thank god for small mercies.

...Why are you sincerely happy about that?
I mean. It happens.
It's not like it's the worst thing that happens to little girls during war either.
Well, for starters, when the game came out, it would make too much controversies, and then we got AO rating.
But mostly? Hitting little girls never feels right with me. Even if it's necessary.
Granted, this is a bit hypocritical, since I never feel any guilt for hitting any Elements in Xenogears or Marcy in Chrono Cross....

Ahh so high ranking soldiery is tied to your hero rating. I fulton just about everything. Always rescue prisoners and interrogate everyone I can creep up on. My last play through is me going after White Mamba but I got distracted by Side Ops.
Who watches the watchmen?...What?
I mean, some of the child soldiers wear shirts, so I dunno how AO would happen.
Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes had worse shit with Paz.
And I'm assuming that these little girls would have guns.
The only thing Big Boss does to the child soldiers is make them have an education.
...How dare these little girls have any skills?

Shooting at children already begin to give you a bad reps. Shooting at little girls is like that, but like, 10 times worse. Is mostly D Ouble Standard, yes, but it's there.
Although, if there are little girls that need DDR, Peace Walker already gave us one, maybe two name that might be qualified to help Snake....
It's there, but it shouldn't be.
x4 If you haul every kid in that mission to the chopper you get crap loads of heroism, if you wait till later you will be able to Fulton then though.
tip for that mission though, You can snipe him before you engage the boss fight via NVG, and get a shot from the water by the docks, Skip the boss fight entirely and piss him off even more if you do ;).

Shooting at children is awful enough. Whether those children are boys or girls really shouldn't matter.
And the game already gives you a game over if you use lethal force so it really doesn't matter.
Hell, didn't one of the trailers show girl soldiers?

This game is supposed to show the horrors of war and colonialism and stuff.
And for the most part, it only shows the impact those have on men.
I mean.
...Hell, Kojima liked the new Mad Max! To the extent that he's seen it in theaters 8 times and counting! And it handled these things a little better and more equally!

Well, if you begin nitpicking, we can always go with this mantra: @Fuckonami.
BLAME EVERYTHING ON KONAMI!!!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if Konami didn't want to put that into a game but more than likely it was probably the CERO or some other agency that made a hissy fit and made em change it, most versions are identical I believe thanks to Kojima being strict on that.
A big guy punching and kicking little girls is probably way over the line somewhere.
It would be interesting to see if the models are hidden in game or any voice clips remain.

Wait. I think I understand why you have this... complaint.
I guess that, mostly, because you can't have Li'l puppy Wolf-chan. My comment sent off a bad memories.
And to be fair, Indochina at that time was (allegedly) full-chock of adorable killing machines, relic from Red Khmer and Vietcong occupation (any Indochina people who feel offended, I apologizes. I did say allegedly.)

A big guy* or gal punching and kicking little kids should always be way over the line, as should be the very existence of child soldiers.
But the simple fact is that they exist in real life, and anybody who gives a shit about the gender of the kid forced to fight a war needs to sit down do some serious priority reevaluation. And like unnoun said, being made a soldier might be the most preferable atrocity that can happen to girls, or women for that matter, in a war-torn shithole.

Um, sorry. Nevermind, then.
...I'm not even entirely sure what you said or who it was directed towards.
A weapon to surpass Metal Gear.

No pre-rendered stuff there. Just cutting-edge technology.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!@ R Bomber - Your points on the last page about the twist being spoiled are wrong. Big Boss had A++ stats in everything across the board in Peace Walker. Venom Snake having those same stats contributes towards the ruse, not foreshadows it.
Pfft, Big Boss wasn't an S-rank soldier in Peace Walker, either.

Dressed to Kill.
On the other hand.
MGS 3 had the same sort of thing where everything had some permanent consequence.
Stamina was constantly depleting.
