Yeah, as well as adjusting to increasing dispersion of said jobs, as they generally can be located anywhere at relatively little cost (as opposed to manufacturing, especially as transport costs rise). Also adjusting to increasing scarcity of materials and changes that are necessary to maintain a consumption based economy with increasing scarcity. (Read this as a much greater focus on virtual goods)
