Yeah, I noticed that too. On one hand, they could finally leave and not have to deal with the conflict anymore. Unfortunately, it could also be a trap to kill them all as well. On the other hand, they reject the offer and they continue to plan a way to save the two groups from being destroyed by either each other or the pirates. Much potential conflict right there. As tempting as it is, either they'll argue on it before one of them convinces the group to not take the obvious bait or they'll unanimously agree to reject it.
Lots of ideas to consider here.
[DATA LOST]Indeed. Tucker character development opportunity in particular. Hopefully we will get a chance for everyone to be a badass.
And also figure out where the hell Doc went, seriously that's getting weird.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.*shrug* Eh, who knows. Maybe he'll show up as a Brick Joke or something.
[DATA LOST]Really, there's no way you could trust that offer, since there's no way the pirates could provide them with transport off the planet that couldn't just as easily be a trap to take the more convenient route of killing eveyone. It being morally wrong is basically irrelevant.
Any bets on who is directing this whole thing? It seems like the Counselor or the Chairman seem like decent bets for generic powerful figures. I'm assuming it's someone we've seen before since there's not much narrative point in masking the identity otherwise.
Text I feel is necessary to append to every post.Reminds me of some quote I once heard about how men can get into the worst and biggest fights and then shrug it off and go back to being friends like it was nothing, and then women will have the worst long-term feuds over the smallest things and then take forever to make nice over it.
But yeah, that was a fun bit.
I'm honestly hoping that the Insurrection is involved. We to know more about them.
Was it from John Rogers, by any chance? While I was watching that I kept thinking about his comedy routine about brothers and sisters fighting differently

I don't know - I heard the quote second hand from a classmate in high school as part of a project they did years back.
Just another PSA today. But Red vs. Blue+Minecraft=Hilarity Ensues. Seriously, who was expecting that?

I sure as hell wasn't! Sarge and Caboose are a fun pair, wish they hung out more often.
I expect Grif and Simmons getting married in Vegas Quadrent fics within the day
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Washington said he knew Doctor Gray. Has this been explained yet?
...because, rewatching Episode 9, her voice reminds me of CT. Maybe South.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Try listening to Blake, then Gray, because it's Arryn.
[DATA LOST]He heard her working on him while they were doing the dream sequence thing.
Nobody has posted here for a while. Well anyway, episode 18 is out! And now, the civil war seems to be over. I wonder what will happen next episode.
Tucker had like 6 opportunities to kill Felix.
The world will look up and shout "Save us", and I'll look down and whisper "Too bad, Waluigi Time" Vote Loki 2016He had a good reason not to.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThe episode was one big Crowning Moment Of Awesome. Two badass battles happening at the same time, and a very neat way to end the war. Also, Lopez...just Lopez.
To be honest, I was expecting everyone to just teleport to the capital, but this works too, I guess.
but HOW?Okay, nitpicks:
- Tucker could have killed Felix, Wash and Carolina could have double-teamed Locus, and they could have explained the situation to Kimball and the other guy.
- When Wash noticed that Felix put a sticky on his gun, he should've thrown it at Felix rather than at Carolina and Locus.
- Why is Carolina suffering The Worf Barra... nevermind, but let me be that guy and say that, had Tex been here, she would have pummeled Locus. I miss her already.
- I was waiting for Locus to do something stupid, but... they managed to subvert it somehow.
One thing I definitely liked:
- The animation. Even though its a little out of place, the fighting style of the Freelancers/mercenaries is toned down to a more plausible level. A lot more punches and kicks and blocks and knifework and tackles and grapples, less Carolina/Tex being all over the place. This is, of course, due to their opponents being more evenly matched. While Tex vs Wash/Meta was one of my favorite fights at the time, looking back, Wash and Meta were getting so thoroughly owned during that fight it's almost silly how Wash pulled off that one lucky shot in the nick of time that gave them the win.
- Seriously, compare Carolina in Season 10 to Carolina Season 12. It's so much easier to enjoy the CQC now compared to the over-the-top scenes we got in Seasons 9 and 10.
Well fuck. People were saying it before, but until now I didn't consider it plausible that Wash or Tucker could be killed off. More likely Wash.
It was mentioned in the previous episode that the Reds and Blues weren't sure if they would be believed, especially since they were supposed to be dead. Carolina's reduced combat skill was explained earlier by her plot-convenient leg injury, which seems to have happened specifically to prevent her from resolving the conflict herself.
Still, they really should have shot Felix instead of just warning him after they sent the video.
Text I feel is necessary to append to every post.Depending on how the next episode goes, this will probably be it for the Chorus arc, unless some shocking swerve pops up in the finale. I'm just wondering now if Control is being set up as another myth-arc-driving villain like the Director ultimately was, or if everything will be wrapped up in Season 13 to round off another trilogy.
And while they do need to tone down the power levels of the Freelancers a bit, I'm hoping Season 13 doesn't keep Wash and especially Carolina worfed all the time. At the very least she should get to beat up some of Control's mooks, even if they keep Felix and Locus on even footing with her.
Ditto.
Sigh. I remember when Season 12 started, and Felix was just this badass new guy and Carolina was showing Villain Protagonist traits.
What a crazy-ass season.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).So...do you think it's a good thing that these twists happened, or do you not like them? I liked the twists because they made the arc a lot more interesting.
Felix is SUCH a bastard. I gotta wonder about his offer though, I mean it being a trap is obvious but what if it isn't? What if they really are getting offered a lift off Chorus because they'd just get in the way of a fight that isn't their's? That has potential.
