Unlikely.
- Tex was one of the AIs that were split off from Alpha.
- The stated reason for her constant failures is that Alpha's memory of her death is what shaped her.
- Therefore, "Allison" died prior to Tex's (and presumably Alpha's) creation.
- Tex/Omega gave York his scar.
- York had his scar when Maine was getting his operation in the trailer.
- The pilot in the trailer was the same one seen here.
- Therefore, the pilot was alive after the creation of Tex.
Episode 4 is out.
North continues to be an awesome brother.
Also we got a name for pale blue freelancer Carolina].
God fucking dammit! I thought we were finally getting back to the main cast and then it goes back to more Freelancer bullshit for most of the video!
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. This season is probably going to benefit the most from watching it all at once on the DVD.
Unlike a lot of people, I actually like the Freelancer stuff. Yeah, I know it makes the story a lot more about DRAMA and ACTION rather than humor, and the humor's why I started watching Rv B in the first place, but I'm personally pretty impressed by how something that began as just a silly show has managed to stay funny while developing this very complex backstory. So long as it doesn't go entirely to Freelancer stuff (and I really, really wish we'd get to see some "modern-day" stuff outside of the capture unit!), I'm OK with significant portions of it being about Freelancers. What annoys me is them taking off their helmets. It was cool in the trailer as a special moment, but now that it's actually showed up in the series proper... eh. I'm not quite as thrilled about it.
And yeah, I know a big part of that is because once you see what a character actually looks like, you lose your mental image of them. Still.
Carolina's the one who got two A.I.s and went crazy, right? Or is that just Fanon?
It was mentioned in Season 6.
I absolutely agree with most of what you said. Well-worded post, there. I'm afraid I disagree on the whole thing about seeing their faces, though. I've wondered about it for years, especially since an artist did two different sets of character pictures where he speculated on what they might look like and I thought it was awesome when I first saw it.
A little bit of face-revealing at a time certainly makes the most sense, but I think a particularly radical part of me won't be satisfied until I get to see what everyone looks like.

Flora Segunda | World Made By Hand | Monster Blood Tattoo ^You should read these series.Newest video is funny as hell. It's now halo canon in my eyes.
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherI really need to play Reach.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I love this not just for the hilarity of Caboose being Six, but the bizarre metafictional implications of one of them "entering the campaign".
Im not sure how I feel about corrupted memory Griff.
I'd say that was their best episode so far. I just hope the writers understand that having corrupted memory versions of the main characters that act like the main characters isn't the same thing as having the main characters back.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I'm highly amused by the Freelancers having a leaderboard.
I'm starting to think that this is a twisted take on an origin story - Griff used to be a hard worker and all it took was one suggestion to turn him into a wastrel. 8-)
I haven't seen anything but the first episode.
Which ones actually contain the Blood Gulch crew? Because I couldn't care less about the Freelancers.
I was so glad that arc was over at the end of the Season 6/7/8 trilogy.
It's not over. Not yet. It's not divided up by episode, the split between the storylines happens somewhere in the middle of the episodes, so you'll have to sit through the Freelancer stuff.
All of them contain at least something of Church and the Blood Gulch Group, no matter how small. Some episodes they get more emphasis, some episodes they get maybe a minute to make way for Freelancers and Monty Oum.
Against all tyrants.I'm pretty sure Oum is the director of all of it, not just the stuff that's rendered and/or about the Freelancers.
I thought he just did the CGI action sequences...
Against all tyrants. This may sound extremely random, but for some reason I have developed a mental connection of sorts between Director Church and this guy. I think it's the voice, mostly.
Flora Segunda | World Made By Hand | Monster Blood Tattoo ^You should read these series.New episode was fairly funny, even if Who's on First? is rather overdone, but I'm kinda disappointed we basically got nowhere this episode.
God DAMN, Wash used to be a total idealist.
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKOh dear god the whining. But it really picked up in the second half. Caboose had the best line as usual.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Wow, what the hell happened to the Freelancers? I guess it turns out Wyoming was a nice guy. Yet another reason for the Director to die.
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand Together
The pilot can also be a bit bitchy at times, too. And Tex's (slightly flanderized as an AI) trait is bitchiness...
The pilot dies in a crash while trying to help out some Freelancers, perhaps?
MAYBE EVEN IN THIS VERY ESCAPE
