Uh, I'm not watching but... Isn't that a little inconvenient? Doesn't Miles has the same hero-name as Peter? And btw does he and Scarlet have any talents, powers or weapons that make them different from main Spidey? Like Scarlet might have his impact webbing?

Scarlet has his stingers and Miles has invisibility plus venom shock.

they make fun of the fact that miles has the same name as peter and at the end miles calls dibs on it leaving peter upset because the rest of the web warriors then refer to miles as spider-man. and Scarlet has his stingers, and different kinds of webs/organic webs. I think Miles has his counterparts powers. Although this miles has a dead dad, and a living mom. but he is trapped on Peter's earth along with his demon goblin

Okay, so now Flash Thompson is a jealous dick. Wonder what kind of dick Miles turns out to be. Unless you're counting the episode where he wants to show that he can be his own spider, but that wasn't him being a dick exactly.

So let me get this straight: We ditched Nova, White Tiger, Luke and Iron Fist in favor of Web Warriors, because they were annoying jerks, and now the new teammates are also turning into jerks?

Well, that combbined with how Gwen was portrayed with Ben 10 makes me suspect Man of Action has a thing for annoying jerks in their main casts...

Danny and Luke weren't that bad and Ava had some development going.

B-B-But if we don't make them dysfunctional jerks, how will the audience know they aren't flawed, relatable characters instead of cardboard cutouts?

Well, Luke had his moments of being an asshole and Ava was a bitch for so long her development came a bit late but yeah, Danny was alright. In the end the worst really was Nova.

Yeah, pretty much. That or they feel the main characters deserves to have everyone be an asshole to him because he is too hot-headed/too immature. You know, all these things SPIDER-MAN IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE!

Although in all fairness even the comics have a long tradition of Peter having something about him that makes most people treat him unfairly and even be major jerks to him/his alter ego/both.

I always get this weird feeling that Man of Action try to make their heroes fun and relatable by making them immature and hot headed and crack bad jokes, and they end up so annoying, that writers become their biggest haters which is why they have all other characters be jerks to them and nothing goes right for them.

Yeah, but that's usually used for drama, not comedy.... at least I think.

Yeah, pretty much. It particularly pisses me off here because one of the main reasons I like Spider-Man is because he is a smart character despite his sense of humor.

Speaking of this weeks episode, isn't it weird that the Villain of the Week is Hydro Man and the the last episode of Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure has a stand user who uses liquid to attack? All of sudden I think Hydro Man is deemed dangerous by Fury because he's been murdering and raping people since the age of 12 and not because of his powers.

Well, to be fair, Fury uses the "he is too dangerous" excuse to send people under lock in inhuman conditions very often in this show.

Far as I know though the Inhumans didn't have it that bad.
