Swap with Advertising Tropes redirect: Commercials Tropes

First I find out that Western Animation is actually a redirect to Animated Shows, and now I find out that Advertising Tropes is actually a redirect to the television-specific name Commercials Tropes? What's going on with these Media Categories these days? Yeesh.

The index should be renamed because Advertising Tropes aren't commercial-specific. They also appear in magazine ads, billboards, store displays, web banner advertisements and pop-ups, live pitches from actual salesmen, the packaging itself, and so on. Advertising comes in lots of forms other than TV commercials and most of the tropes on this index can apply to any of them, so we should be using the broader term. Also, the Media Category we actually use to classify TV commercials is Advertising, so it would be more consistent anyway.

I think Advertising Tropes is more broad than commercials and like it better.

I am in favor of such a swap.

I think we should make Advertising Tropes a different page. One with the Cover Tropes et al on it. Those are forms of advertising two but they are not the medium of a commercial.

Well, the strike against that, I think, is that the page has good inbounds, and if we move it to something else, we're pretty much breaking all those inbounds, no?

Break what inbound links? All the inbound links go to Commercial Tropes which would remain as it is.

Just assuming those inbounds are expecting to go to the current page and not a sub-index. *shrug*

Every page I have seen has categories towards Advertising, not Commercials, so the page would look awkward for having an inconsistency. Support redirect swap.
