Lumines 1 and 2. Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. Lufia: Silver Star Story possibly. Don't know much about the new translation.

If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahJust got Castlevania. And holy shit do I love it.
I just barely found out that you need a memory stick, though >:/
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Oh dear...yeah you need one of those. I like Tokobot and I guess I'd suggest it. It's a cute little puzzle platformer. The controls are a bit ass but I like it...
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahHere's what I have and recommend, if you're into this genre, your OP didn't give much insight into your tastes:
- Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
- Disgaeas 1 and 2
- Jeanne D Arc
- Valkyria Chronicles II
- Zettai Hero Kaizou Keikaku
EDIT:
3. What's the best type of PSP to get?
???

FFVII: Crisis Core
KH: Birth from Sleep
MGS: Peace Walker
@ Spell Caster
I'll give anything by Atlus a try.
Also, I keep hearing that 3000 has problems or that it'll mess up.
What PSP has the least problems/ best ease of use?
@ Zero
-sigh- i've been jaded from most of Square Enix's input, but I'll still play the Tactics series.

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.No Kingdom Hearts?
Looks like I know who I'm culling next... MUAHAHAHA
Seriously, Kingdom Hearts proves that SE hasn't lost all of its talent just yet.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireAlright. I won't let the guys from Socks Make People Sexy jade me even worse.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI....wat.
Anyway, I'd also recommend Me and My Katamari (I think that's the one for PSP).
SMPS are the guys who did the articles for Hardcore Gaming 101's Final Fantasy articles.

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Switch-mode-power-supply? Also, so what?
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI can hearily recommend Persona 1, Persona 3 Portable, Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, Valkyria Chronicles II and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
No need to get both Lumines games, just one will do.
How are the other Metal Gear games?
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Portable Ops has a horrifying control scheme. It was unplayable for me. Portable Ops Plus is an expansion pack which emphasised the multiplayer, but lacks the main singleplayer game.
Like Peace Walker, Portable Ops is based around capturing and recruiting enemy soldiers. Unlike Peace Walker, it sucks.
Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2 are alright. They're turn-based card games in which you move Snake across a grid like in a turn-based tactical game, and use various cards (gun cards for shooting, land mine cards, body armour cards, etc.) to clear each stage.

If you're severely masochistic, then you should try picking up the Badman series, as well as Half Minute Hero and Whose That Flying?
There's also the Darkstalkers, Power Stone and Street Fighter collections. And GTA Vice City Stories is always awesome.
@ Capcom fighters collections: DO WANT!!
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Well, all thee are available for download for pretty cheap, so you could just download them right now, without even having to go to the store.
YESH!
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.There's also the Neo Geo fighting games, Blablue Calamity Trigger Portable, and Soul Calibur Broken Destiny, again available for download.
since you didn't specify any genre:
- Twisted Metal: Head On
- Ace Combat X
- Wipeout Pulse
- Gradius Collection
I think I'll also try Gradius Collection:
I like mostly action games, some rpgs (I'm willing to put up with Atlus' input, but am mostly burned out from Square Enix, with some exceptions), fighting games, beat em ups, metroidvanias, arcade style action games ala Devil May Cry etc. Really, my undying love for classic pre-Symphony Castlevania should tell you all you need to know about my gaming tastes.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Then there's also the two portable God of War games.
The 2000 was the best, quality-wise (better screens than 3000, same everything else). They are also the easiest to hack, and therefore are immensely popular for an entirely illegal reason. Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together
Umbran Climax◊
Hi, it's this thread again.
I just bought myself a PSP and I have a few questions:
1. Any good games I should get for this :D
2. I heard there are some problems with the 3000 (i've purchased a 3000). How bad are these?
3. What's the best type of PSP to get?
