I sense a great rivalry here.
Well that's one problem solved.
I wonder if their particular varieties of crazy blend or annihilate each other.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.You know, I've been a little bored with this comic as of late (mostly due to the slow rate of updates) but that right there just caused it to ratchet back up.
Oh God! Natural light!Look on the bright side, Max. It might not be your house that she blows up after all.
Third and fifth panels make me think Suzy might have an Embarrassing Last Name.
Damn. Max cannot catch a break.
I guess she really was the lesser evil.
Maybe Suzie is a bottle blonde?
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️Literally everyone? Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.
seriously there are no bad characters in this comic. It's amazing.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Even completely random one-off characters who are never seen again are awesome. Remember the tiger and the dragon who interfered with the game?
Aaaand we'll be right back to a different scene next week. Sigh.
I'm not holding anything against the comic, but it does get a bit sucky when they keep introducing new things and then cutting to someplace else where we'll be introduced to new things and then get cut to someplace else and get introduced to new things and then
It only updates twice a week, sure, and it doesn't have the same flow as other media - that's fine. But all of these mini-cliffhangers are starting to wear thin.
I'm real interested to see where this Max/Lisa/Suzy situation goes in the future. Maybe he'll even have to turn back to Suzy for help???
I like Lisa dunking the mic into the glass of water.
I guess Collin does have other friends! Maybe!
Hmm, let's see, what could the next scene be? Isabel HACKING? Isaac following Garcia? Ed being interrogated by Johnny and RJ?
I think the biggest problem is the update rate. It wouldn't be too annoying if it updated more often. But this appears to be as fast as he can manage. Ah well, if it gets too maddening I'll take a break and read it once it flows.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️The jumping between scenes in this comic is the perfect pace if you're just reading the archive. If you're following along real time, of course, you have to wait weeks inbetween. But that's just a consequence of the webcomic medium, not the author's fault.
...That makes absolutely no sense. How would a cheap phone camera see what a human eye can't (while at the same time seeing what a human eye can), save both picture versions in a picture format that can only store RGB, and then display it on a cheap LCD?
Rule of Funny I guess...
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I assumed that the magic ghosty vision rule still applies. Like, RJ would see Ed floating, but Ed sees the train.
It's just a fantasy contrivance. Same thing happened in Hunter X Hunter and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.
But that would need a camera capable of seeing both RGB and ghost RGB, an image format capable of recording both without rising suspicions from the seemingly useless doubling of bits per pixel, and a LCD capable of displaying both!
Edit: And the "ghosts and spirits altering people's perception" explanation would be even more convoluted for it to work.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Shhhhhhhhh don't think about it.
Spender ends up smacking himself in the face the first time he tries swinging that whip around
Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.
