I'm reminded of the spongebob mmo that someone's making.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIHuh. I've always wanted one of those. We'll see how it goes.

One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderIt EXISTS!?

If they happen to make that thing play similar to World of Tanks (classes with specialties, large team battles, one-life-only counterstrike style) plus the ability to customize your bot, THEN COUNT ME IN!!!
Large team battles are confirmed already.
Jonah FalconThe reason why I mentioned World of Tanks is because it's very easy to play and get into, and doesn't rely upon you having a perfect build of spells, abilities, buffs, etc to win like in most MMORP Gs. Instead, good teamwork, positioning, scouting, and use of your unit's strengths while avoiding large groups of the enemy is what wins the day.
This isn't Mech Warrior Online. It's more like Hawken.
Jonah FalconHaven't played Hawken, but from what I've seen that's still a good thing.
It's an awkward analogy.
What I mean is that Mech Warrior Online is very technical. Transformers MMO is "make a Transformer, give it weapons, go shoot things."
Jonah FalconOMFG EPIC FAIL HASBRO WHY U CATER TO NOOB COD PLAYERS!?!?!!?1111
Joking aside, going the basic Third-Person-Shooter deathmatch route might not work out. Isn't that what the "War for Cybertron" series is already doing?
Title says Universe.
Uses Prime designs.
RUINED FOREVER .
Joking aside, despite what a lot of their fans may say Jagex actually has a pretty good grip on how to run a MMO properly and they certainly take feedback better than many other companies. This will be meh at the absolute worst but it's just as likely to be surprisingly good.
Well, this game does seem to promise far larger battles. If they can achieve Planetside scale people would be all over it.
The original thread is gone, but - the rumor is reality.
