Beautifully atmospheric and a pain to play. The local reviewer disliked it, but kept at it. I played it, and remember that it was different, but not much else.

I have never heard of this game before, but I was looking through the pawnshop (because you ALWAYS find cool things there) and I found the soundtrack. I bought it because it has a cool blue jellyfish on it (and rendered in that lovely 90's CGI style where everything was like abstract low-poly dolphins flying through space geometry, I love that style) and I thought it would be terribly generic one-man-trance stuff that was all the rage back then (either that or garage rock because the name sounds like a garage rock band).
I was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually sci-fi orchestral ambient stuff done by the guy who composed one of the Wing Commander games as well as a few other titles. This made me curious about the game and I found out it was a RTS game (one in a series) that uses the same graphical style as the soundtrack cover!
Needless to say I want to find this game now. It looks like it must have been really popular, I just never kept up with PC gaming in the late 90's. Has anyone actually played the game? The music and graphics are at least pretty cool. I feel so n00by when it comes to PC games.
