I'm not very fond of "social" gaming, but things like this might just hit the spot.

A proper adventure game using this technology would be cool. Something like those old FMV games, (only good) with dialogue being the main gameplay thingy.

It could use voice recognition for dialogue, and you just read from a selection of lines rather than clicking/typing.

In the future, I hope adventure/RPG games will let you have free back-and-forth conversations with NP Cs by just typing whatever, like those chat bots. The tech is still not perfect, but it hasn't been explored much in games. The Kinect would be the perfect platform for it.

Oh, the game. Well, it looks like it only works for pretty simple shot/reverse shot dialogue scenes. Anything involving movement is out. Still, as a party game, it looks pretty fun.

It would probably work about as well as it did in your avatar pic's case.
