Envy sickens me. D:
Awww. (
Well YMMV I guess.
Is it his personality that puts you off or his look?
Both. xD
His death was sad though.

Ummm... Are we sure Envy's main body is male? We don't even know what gender he originally was! He doesn't know either, and that's not even his body.
I suppose some might like the shapeshifting aspect... There's a trope for that too. Yuck, cantthinkaboutenvylikethat
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."True. Even Father had a sad end. Nothing like reducing your powerful villains to tiny, whimpering creatures to make the audience forget even the most grievous of crimes.
Well Anime Envy at least is definitely a male. He's this guy.◊
Although for Manga Envy, it's hard to say. He lacks breasts but hell, he could be lacking the proper male equipment too. I just know I find everything from "its" palm tree hair to its evil smile to its shapely form to be attractive.
Its voice is a great help too of course.

Breakdancing Envy is best Envy. And yeah, Envy is hot as heck.
Old Polish proverb. Every monster will find its admirer.
My President is Funny Valentine. So Nikkolas, you're female?
I don't think anyone finds Envy's dragon form hot.
Nope, I'm a guy. Can't say I own a Man Card though given my bi-ness and how I tend to squee and other girly things.
I really liked cute little Selim in 2003 more than "cute" little Selim in Brotherhood.
2003's Selim felt like a real child, an inocent Kid. Brotherhod's Selim did not seem at all like a likeable, adorable, kid until the very end.
If you want any of my avatars, just Pm me I'd truly appreciate any avatar of a reptile sleeping in a Nice Hat Read Elmer Kelton booksSelim in Brotherhood was an actual character, though.
Except for scalies? Now wonder /tg/ picks on them.
My President is Funny Valentine./tg/ picks on scalies because /tg/ is full of nasty, mean-spirited jerks.
Please elaborate on why Selim was an actual character in brotherhood.

Yes.
I fail to see how Selim wasn't an actual character in 2003.
Tiny brotherhood baby Selim is so cute!
If you want any of my avatars, just Pm me I'd truly appreciate any avatar of a reptile sleeping in a Nice Hat Read Elmer Kelton booksI dunno, I thought Selim's 2003 design was kinda...weird. Is it just me. Not to mention he was pretty much just a plot device in 2003.
Check out cool reviews here. Or Don't.Pride was the scariest hommunculi for me for how well he played up the Creepy Child Trope. I think in the 2003 version Wrath is supposed to do the same thing?
I dunoo... I honestly don't think 2003 was intended to be creepy...neccesarily I dunno. He didn't have any overtly creepy qualities, and I think he was just supposed to "dangerous" as opposed to offputting.
Check out cool reviews here. Or Don't.2003 is highly creepy, seriously some people got it confuse as a horror anime.
Wait what?
Read the nightmare fuel page for more details.
I think brotherhood topped the original in the nightmare fuel department thanks to that apocalypse at the end
That's an interesting point. I had been to the Evil Is Sexy page many times before I actually saw FMA and I always thought "that chick isn't all that sexy...."
I mean, even if you like her, would you really consider her the best picture of the trope in all of fiction?
Personally I think the sexiest character in FMA is Envy....
Just look at that body! And he has a beautiful face and hair to top it off.
