One father two mothers would result in 50% one person, 25% each mother, which would be indistinguishable from the two fathers scenario. And also very unlikely.
I was thinking a fertilized egg being fused with an unfertilized egg in the mash-up, so that could go 50% one mother, 25% father, 25% other mother or 50% father, 25% one mother, 25% other mother or the aforementioned 33% all round. I think the problem is that finding out would involve explaining the situation to a geneticist, and they don't know any non-muggle ones.
I'm going with hcobb. I think the moms just honestly didn't want to know. The only important one would be that last one, and I have a feeling that's not the kind of thing that would show up on a paternity test.
