Okay. So, basically, the world I'm currently writing for has nine Powers. Each Power is generated by a Golem-one of Nine beings that seperate the Wastelands from Gaia.

Every human is born under the power of one of the Golems.

Each Golem gives people a certain... look. Using their Powers, they can summon a suit of armour around themselves, which allows them to use their respective Powers.

The armour's material is... weird. It's stronger than steel, yet as flexible as soft leathers.

Terra- His People summon heavy Plate armour, coloured in browns or grey.

They're noted for brute strength. Fledgings are often awed by how much power they have at their fingertips. Thing is... You don't want brute strength. You want fine control.

These people are often physical labourers or frontline soldiers.

Aqua- Her People summon fine armour, almost like chainmail except woven like cloth, coloured fine or powder blues.

They're noted for their skill in Healing- they are able to stop blood pumping out of open wounds- and their work in agriculture/irrigation.

Ventus- Her People summon long, flowing robes, coloured whites, yellows and greys.

They are noted for their effectiveness in flying Airships and Seaboats, as well as their usefulness n rendering archers and other ranged fighters meaningless in combat.

Liva- Her People summon simple chainsuits, coloured red and greeny.

They are very good at talking empathically with, and guiding the growth of, plants and animals. Which animal each has an Affinity for determines their usefulness, whether in combat or out of it.

Spark- Her People summon regal armours, with ornate yet practical designs, colored predominantly black, highlighting the yellow streaks.

Her People are considered some of the most useful to have around- as they are the only people who can run Engines. They are useful in combat, too, due to their extreme speed- although they have little to no defences.

Suun- Her People summon skintight armours, coloured completely black.

Her People... Don't really have any use at all.

Pyro- His People summon armour resembling full plates of armour. These armours are coloured red, orange and yellow, with occasionally some blue.

Pyro's people are good at disposing of things that society finds useless, as their fires leave no traces of their passing beyond their consumption of materials.

Mundus- His People summon a headband, with a modestly short robe. Their robe are coloured pinks and oranges.

Mundus' People make very good therapists. They are good Assassins, too.

Mallia- Her People summon full sets of Plate Armour, leaving no trace of their flesh underneath. They are coloured browns, greys and yellows.

These People are excellent crafters, able to make wondrous things out of metals they summon from nowhere.

My question is, can you help me develop these powers?

I like this; it's complex, but interesting.

What kind of development advice were you looking for? I'm not really seeing any obvious problems with this, or do you mean wanting more detail?

More details, and the individual ways each power could be used in everyday life.

Like, Hydro People can do Irrigation and Plumbing-type stuff. But what else can they contribute?

Perhaps weather, or the managing of natural disasters?

What about hydropower, dams, etc?

I've read several stories that featured magical hydro power, recently. Seems to be a thing :)

Weather is more Spark's deal. Electricity and weather.

All of them have two rather important domains. Want me to lost them?

How about temperature control, for the hydro powers? Or is that taken...

Oh, and the ones that summon metal from nowhere - is it really nowhere?

Temperature control is Hydro, yes.

And, uh, no, it's not really from nowhere, although it is close. It consumes the matter of the space the metal will occupy, then builds new matter- solid metal- in its' place.

Yes. That means they can effectively disintegrate someone's head and crush their body with a large cube of metal.

...nice? I suppose that makes sense.

What about filtering/purifying things? Where would that fit?

The names sound fine to me.

The people with more mental/emotional powers - what's the main theme of their golem?

The main theme is their, well, their very LACK of armour compared to everyone else.

They're focused on the mind, see. Psychic powers and psychology.

Worship of the Golems.

Other than that, no, they're not into spirituality.

Incidentally, you know what would be cool?

Co-writing a book with someone, through the viewpoints of the antagonist AND the protagonist.

Hmmmmm.

Through applications of their brains.

They're the thinkers, the innovators.

They just don't rely on their powers to do it.

So the Livia, they're basically botanist, animal trainers, right?

They can work with plants and bacteria, too.

 botanist

,

bacteria, animals, and plants

they look self-contained, almost.

If it's already implied with the animals and bacteria sorry , but do they control insects?

'Plants' here means Fungus, etc, too, which Botanists don't study.

Yes, they control insects too. Not pollen or eggs, though.

Sort of, I guess?

If every single person was an Exalted, and they were toned down to D&D power levels...

@OP: NOOOO! My idea is remarkably similar to that! Now I must work harder to get it out before you *sads*

Okay, well... could you go about listing those domains for me?
