   So, very well. -the glaive starts to shrink back into its' gauntlet, the glow from the super-heated part still visible in the palm-   

Yeah- it never does help. I always get like that on the full-moon. 'Cause- werewolf problems.

Makes me naturally nocturnal when that happens... does help with homework though.

   I have my tasks, and I follow them to a letter. And none of them require me to be nice.

-Giggles a little bit- Ya' do homework in the wolf form? Wouldn't that make it hard to use a pencil?

Oh- n-no- I have control over the transformation, so... it's just that the full-moon does have a strong connection to me still.

   Taking the form of a shadow is for ease of transportation. It is not my natural form, so I am not a "shadow" asshole.   

   And if I was to ambush you, I wouldn't have done this.   

I-I mean- I could try to do homework whilst being a wolf, but- depending on the form, I don't even have thumbs...

   Facts aren't meant to be reassuring. They are what they are.   

   And your sarcasm is pointless.   

Get really good at using paws. That's a skill ya' might need to have one day.

   I am becoming increasingly suspicious that she is getting in the way of my tasks. An active obstacle.   

   If I had her full-name, this would be over with.   

   But right now- I do not. And I am not going to fight her, unless she gives me a solid reason to.   

   But it is growing increasingly obvious to me that this reason will come to fruition soon.

Maybe one day ya' might have to infiltrate a group of wolves or somethin'. They'll know somethin's up if ya' can't use ya' paws right.

-gets a confused look on his face- ... T-that seems like a very... very specific situation... why would I need to infiltrate wolves...?

M-maybe infiltrate somewhere as a wolf, and learn how to act like one sure... but I think I'd need to fool humans...?

I- uh- never really thought of the stealth implications of being a wolf...

I doubt wolf's hard to learn. Lotta growling and barks.
