As someone who has seen Terra Nova, let me assure you that lack of intellect would not have been a major concern in this case.
What's precedent ever done for us?Yeah, the finale was especially brain dead.
Though consider it from an exec's position. You can make ten reality shows for the price of one Terra Nova. Even if none of them have half the viewership of TN you're still coming out way ahead in the money.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritThis is why you don't let bad writers anywhere near solid production values. Just don't do it.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."I can't say I'm in morning over it. The show had a lot potential for sure, but so does a chestnut. Come Christmas if you don't see any growth you roast it on the fire.
that make more sense in my head.

hashtagsarestupidThat's kind of a funny metaphor, actually.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."
Frankly, and I haven't seen Terra Nova, I think bean-counting Fox execs lack the intellect to manage a sci-fi series.
I'm a skeptical squirrel
