Herbert: You cheeky son of a bitch. I... I'm sorry, Lity. I will admit that I was caught up in the moment, and said some things I probably shouldn't have. I only meant to try and get Des to stop treating the whole affair like some sort of sick game. This is a serious matter, and we need to get to finding this Eevee now.

-he looks over at Tagg-

Herbert: White Forest? Let's get over there. Who knows what they could be doing.

-he wanders off, hoping to put some distance between him and Jacob before the latter murders him-

-Herb was expecting something like this to occur, but he doesn't look any less shocked as Jacob slams the wind out of him-

Herbert: Urk! I didn't... I didn't mean to hurt her! Des was treating the whole affair like it was one of his old heists, I got mad at him, Lity got mad at me and I... I snapped. I never meant for her to cry, I swear.

Jacob: "What did she say to you." -Begins applying a little pressure-

Des suddenly jumps out from behind a tree and puts Jacob into a headlock.

Des:You honestly think I'm that gullible? Leavin' you two alone? Let him go Jacob.

Herbert: Gah... well, she called me a pompous, assumptous, arrogant, unperceptive, anti-empathetic jerk - all of which is true, I'll admit, but that wasn't what I was expecting to hear! All I was trying to do was get her to back off!

-suddenly, Des occurs, and Herbert drops to the floor, breathing heavily-

Regina: -Raises arm with a charged Focus Blast to Des's head-

Jacob: "-If you don't want someone getting hurt,I suggest you release me."

Argentum: -Is staring down Herbert-

Jacob: "I am just asking a few questions. I'm not going to kill him."

Des slowly releases Jacob.

Des: Me and you are alike, Jake. We protect what we have. The ONLY thing I have is you guys, and I don't wanna see any of you get hurt. Herb was mad at me, Lity was defendin' me even though I didn't ask her too. Now just calm down and leave Herb alone. I caused this, and I'm sorry.
