Lake seems rather hesitant.

Lake: <Oh, you don't have to carry me down if you don't want to, Skye. I am rather heavy. Plus, I think I have an idea of how I can get down there without hurting myself.>

It wasn't that he didn't think she would be able to do it safely, more like he didn't want to strain her unnecessarily.

Unruined Alph

Skye: <Really? How?>

Lake: <Let me show you.>

Lake closes his jaws, squirting some water up into them before beginning to slosh it around his mouth, as if rinsing it like one would when cleaning their teeth.

After a few moments of this, Lake takes a deep breath, the exhales, blowing a large blue Bubble, which after a few more puffs, he manges to envelope himself in.

<Okay, now I just need to jump down, and this bubble should cushion my fall...Well, I hope.>

He peers over the edge of the hole once more, gulps, then shuts his eyes.

<On three...one...two...THREE!>

He opens his eyes, then jumps down the hole.

<LOOK OUT BELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!>

Lunar Cave

-Zero runs into the cave and finds it vastly different than how it was before. There are broken orbs lying around, Shadow Ball markings on the wall-

Zero:<...What happened here?>

-Zero walks into the living quarters-

Zero:<Hello? Anybody here?>

-He checks inside Frigid's quarter to find a Weavile Plush in place of Frigid, with its mouth sealed by Galvantula webbing-

Zero:<Strange. Where could Frigid be?>

-Zero checks Kerrin's chamber, only to find an Evade Orb seemingly rolling around on its own-

Zero:<What's going on here...>

Treasure Town

-Straw is in Treasure town-

Thresher: -Has already moved out of the way-

Alph Interior - Main Chamber

Thankfully, everybody else heeded Lake's warming to move, so he didn't end up landing on anyone. Unfortunately, he hit the ground hard enough to bounce rather high...

Lake: <Whoa!>

...high enough to hit the ceiling, which he ricocheted off like a rubber ball...

<YIKES!>

...only to hit the floor again, this time at an angle, causing him to roll a short distance...

<WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!>

...until hitting a wall, where he stopped dead. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt. But he was a little dazed.

<I need to work on my landings...> @_@

-the Evasion Orb seems to roll toward Zero and stop at his feet-

Zero:<...Huh?>

Evasion Orb:...

Zero:<Ookay.>

-Zero picks up the Evasion Orb-

Zero:<Guess I should go get that Weavile plush too.>

-Zero goes to Frigid's room and picks up the Weavile plush-

???, PMD A

-A familiar Absol jumps down from a cliff and lands next to a familiar Honchkrow and a familiar nameless Sableye-

Honchkrow:<Did you keep him away long enough?>

Absol:<Yeah, but we didn't have time to kill them.>

Honchkrow:<He's probably found them then. Send a team to take them from him.>

Sableye:-runs out of the place with various Ghost types-

Skye watches Lake, slightly worried. She turns to Lapras.

Skye: <I guess that just leaves you.>

After taking a few moments to recover, Lake pulls himself up, if in a wobbly fashion, and glances around. Apart from the giant hall being in better repair than it was in the past, there didn't appear to be any major differences lay-out wise.

Finding the exit wouldn't be difficult, then.

Lake: <Okay, let's get out of here...>

He steps forward, only to fall over, still dizzy.

<...Give me another minute...>

Treasure Town

Thorn: -has possibly stayed up all night playing EXTREME CHECKERZ with Pariah-

Wellspring Cave, or Somewhere Nearby

Merle: -starting to wake up-

- Wakes up -

Crochet: -Looking further ahead- So where do we go now?

Lake pulls himself up of the floor, the dizziness having subsided.

Lake: <Oof...There should be a ladder back up to the top around here somewhere. This place isn't very complicated, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.>

He starts to walk off, only to be stopped by an Unown P popping up in front of him.

<Oh! Hello...>

The Unown stares at Lake for a few seconds, then curiously pokes Lake's Bubble Shield with it's "tail".

<Hmm? Do you like my bubble?>

The Unown nods happily, then emits a strange cry, causing more Unown to gather around Lake.

<Oh wow, I'm popular all of a sudde-WHOA!>

To Lake's surprise, the Unown begin to glow, picking him up with telekinetic power.

<Hey! Can you at least ask before you do that?>

The Unown make a strange sound again, this time in perfect sync with each other, activating their potent reality warping powers, which started to freak Lake out.

<I'm not sure I like where this is going...>

All of a sudden, a crystalline structure begins to grow in the center of the room, forming four legs, a slanted surface surrounded by walls to keep what was inside from falling off, strange mushroom shaped structures, tracks, and some sort of launcher...

...It was all beginning to look like some sort of...pinball table?!

<What on Earth-?!>

The Unown make a happy noise, then drop Lake into the launch shoot, bubble and all, and it was at that point he realized that he was the ball in this game.

<...This is going to suck.>

Not!Ruins of Alph, PMD-B

-T is floating nearby the pinball table, examining it curiously- <This one feels that the workmonship gone into this table could have stood to be far better...>

Crochet: -Shocked- What's going on?

Doc: -Drops down using Telekinesis to slow his fall- A pinball machine?

Limna: With Lake as the ball!

Thresher: Perhaps we should just step back for a bit.

Doc: -Notices T- Isn't that the same Unown that used to hang around Every?

T: -floats over to Doc- <Hello to the Audino!>

The Unown P from before telekineticly grabs the crystalline plunger and pulls it back...>

Lake: <Eep.>

...Then let's it go, launching Lake up the ball chute, which curves around, the drops him onto the actual table just above the plungers.

<OH NOOOOOOOO!!!>

Lake can do nothing as gravity pulls him downwards into the bumpers, where he proceeds to be ricocheted between them several times, scoring quite a few points.

<OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!>

Eventually, gravoty takes effect again, sending him rolling down the bottom towards the gutter. But what sort of pinball table would it be without flippers?

The Unown P deftly flips Lake up, hurtling him back towards the top of the table to earn more points as the gathered Unown cheer.

<FOR ARCEUS' SAKE, SOMEMON HELP!> @_@

Thresher: -To Lake- What are we supposed to do about this?

Doc: -Tries to use Telekinesis to save Lake-

PMD-B Ruins of Alph

T: -watches the game-

One of the Unown glares at Doc.

Unown S: <The Audino should stop that immediately! Tilting isn't allowed on this table!>

In an attempt to dissuade him from interfering, the Unown launches several balls of orange energy at the Audino.

Doc: Eep! -Gets hit-

Crochet: -Angrily- Hey, you leave him alone!

Some of the Unown shift their attention away from the Pinball game, shocked to see Crochet taking out one of their own.

Unown V: <The Leavanny just got The S!>

Unown F: <Get the Leavanny!>

Angrily, the Unown launch a barrage of various types of Hidden Power at Crochet and the others.

-Team Nova manages to put up Protect barriers to defend against most of the onslaught-

Thresher: -To Crochet- You just had to pick a fight with mons that could take us to their home dimension and do things to us didn't you?

Crochet: -Angrily- Shut up Thresher!

Thresher: -Shocked-

Limna: -Decides to fill the room with steam in an attempt to mask their positions-

Crochet: -Runs over to Doc- Are you okay? How hurt are you? Did you break anything when that mean Unown attacked you?

Doc: -Manages to pick himself up and speaks in a rather Tagg-like manner- ...I'm fine.

T: -floats over to Tagg's mons- <This one would suggest that the Team Nova escape while it still can. Mist will not hide it for long against us.>
