In effect, Inka walks out from another door, holding a flowerpot; she puts it down and looks up at Tangent.

The Nidorina walks up to Tangent and nuzzles.

Zukov: "Come in, boss. You could spend the night here, there should be no trouble. How are things back at HQ? Are they hiring?" — gives a shifty look.

-Jeff is looking around the shop. There are musical instruments of all sorts: drums, flutes, pianos, trombones, guitars, theremins. etc. One instrument in particular catches Jeff's eye.-

"-To the cashier- Excuse me, sir, how much is it for the trumpet?"

Cashier:"That trumpet costs $3000"

"-Looking djected- Well, I can't afford that right now dammit."

Cashier:"We offer a rent-to-own program. You pay a small amount monthly, say $100, and pay off the cost. If you don't want to keep it, you can bring it back without having to pay anything else. Wha'dya say?"

"Yes! I'll take it!"

Cashier:"Okay, I just need you to sign some paperwork."

Jeff Item Gets a Trumpet! Do-do-do-doooo!

-Jeff walks out with the trumpet in a case, and some beginner's music books-

"Only $120. The trumpet is being payed monthly."

HQ is doing fine. -chuckles- We could always use more researchers of your level. But then, this posting has a way of putting you through the refinery fires. Silent can be... intense, sometimes, but his interns are some of the best people we have in the end.

-Tangent makes a mental note to ask Firuz how his explorations are proceeding sometime-

Basket: -is released, half-asleep- <Mmm?>

Tangent: We can sleep here, Basket. Figured you'd like to greet Inka before we nod off.

Sees Basket being sent out. "<Isn't it Basket!>" — goes hug more or less freely, since Pecha Berries. — "<You two haven't got my kit and human in any threatening situations,    right   ? :3>"

Zukov: "Oh, great, now she looks happy." — turns to Tangent. "If you have the secret to get on her good side, boss, please, please help me. The others left me alone here."
