<Arcadia: "Ugh!">

<Rye: "Easy there... We've still got plenty of potential entrants...">

<Start: "Yeah, you say that like we can't get around easily!">

<Mikoyan: "Er... Technically, teleporting is cheating in this thing...">

<Start: "... Rats.">

<Foil: "She does have a point... I mean... That trophy is really important... And knowing our luck, everyone else already knows what's going on with it...">

<Rye: "I'm sure it'll turn out fine, Foil... Now...">

-Picks up a hoop-

<Rye: "Where did we leave off?">

Umbra: Listen, though. There's this abominable Smeargle we're trying to hunt down, along with his family. I'm going to need your help.

Jadis: Um...I guess I'll fight if I need to... How mean is this Smeargle?

Jadis: That... that's not fair! It's bad enough when a human is mean to his Pokemon, but when it's the other way around... I'll help you stop that bully!

Trying to wake up Salamence. But she's both asleep and curled under Spathi's wing...and I really don't want to wake him up. ._.

Sounds like you need a small mon to get in there...

Kessie: <Kessie is small!>

Kessie: <Kessie can try!> -flutter-nuzzles Every, then flies over to Spathi, working her way under his wing-

Icicle: <Shadow, help me! We need to spread joy in the name of Team Glacier!>

Shadow: <Why do you want me to do this, dad?>

Icicle: <Because I'm your father and I say so! So help make it snow!>

Shadow: <All right. There was a new trick I wanted to try out.>

-Shadow closes his eyes, and his forehead gem flashes for a moment-

-the snow cloud grows larger-

Icicle: <That's perfect!>

Shadow: <...I'm glad you like it, dad.>

Forte: You're not helping, Shadow...

Icicle: <Yes he is!>

Salamence: -a bit petulantly- <Can't it wait? It's nice and warm here. > -shifts closer to Spathi and wraps her wings around her head-

Ok, Marshtomp, Swellow, and Mightyena are ready to go

Kessie: <Pleeeeeeeeeease. He has a surprise for you!> -burying herself in Salamence's fluff-

Route 119

After returning to camp, Yuki opted to perch in a tree above the group, shooing away any Tailow or Wurmple that were currently occupying it. Rex blinked at her odd behavior, but decided to let him sit in peace, lest he bring her wrath upon himself. Besides, she seemed to have cheered up a bit from her little walk, a soft smile gracing her usually cold features.

Meanwhile, on the ground, most of Rex's Pokemon were resting after their generous meal, having fallen asleep in the same location that they'd supped. Only Dahlia and Grey were still awake, the former having picked at her food due to her lack of an appetite, and the latter being fed a separate meal more suitable to his still budding tastes.

Standing up with a yawn, Rex stretched his arms, turning to the two Pokemon still on the ground.

Rex: I'm going to take a short walk. I won't be gone too far, so just holler if you need me.

His two Pokemon nodded, though Dahlia seemed noticeably more somber as she did so. Sensing her sadness, Rex knelt next to her, placing his palm gently on her head. She looked up at him in surprise, her blue eyes shining in confusion.

Rex: Dahlia, I hear there's a Contest Hall in Lilycove.

Dahlia: <!>

Rex: What do you say we check it out after the Pokeringer competition?

The little plant shuffled her leaves, blushing in embarrassment at the thought of finally being able to perform in front of a crowd of adoring fans and Pokemon...all screaming her name...and cheering. A smile slowly came over her face, the Bellossom stifling the urge to giggle.

Dahlia: <...I'd like that very much.>

Rex: Great! Now, hopefully there's time for us to visit the Weather Research Institute before the Pokeringer Competition starts. I know Claudia was looking forward to it. And we still need to find Yuki some good souvenirs.

He lifted his hand from the Bellossom's head and stood up again. He gave both of his Pokemon a little wave, then left to begin his brief walk, leaving his team in silence. Dahlia mulled over this news with curiosity, wondering what contests were like.

Was there an attire?

Should she find some prettier flowers?

What if there was another Bellossom that was cuter than her?

Several thoughts swirled through her head, the little plant Pokemon shaking her head to ward them off. No, there would be time for worries later. For now, all that was important was that a Contest Hall was near. She giggled happily, beginning to sway back and forth as she fantasized about dancing about, eventually beginning to spin around the campsite in bliss.

Dahlia: <Hehe~>

Grey watched in confusion, not sure what was going on, but deciding to try to keep up anyway. Dahlia seemed amused at his efforts, eventually drawing him into the dance as well.

Dahlia: <Are you going to help me practice, Grey?>

The two of them continued to twirl about, laughing to themselves at something they didn't quite understand. Meanwhile, in the trees, Yuki smiled, snuggling the Heart Scale against her cheek.

Kessie: <Yep!> -is very comfy in all the fluff-

-Notices Umbra.

Ah good. Everyone's here. Tagg, if Xatu could do the honors.........

Salamence: <Okay...> -sticks her head out from under Spathi's wing- <What did you want?>

Just wanted to tell you that I signed you up for the Pokeringer.

Salamence: <!> -nudges Spathi- <Spathi! Wake up!>

-jumps back-

Spathi: *wakes up, nuzzling Salamence...before realizing Every and the others are there* <...!> *tries to look intimidating to compensate for his embarrassment*

Salamence: -nuzzles back- <Spathi! I get to be in the Pokeringer contest! ^_^>

-would have awww'd, but doesn't want to get roasted-

Kessie: <Awwww> --
