Shahinne manages to materialize two new images to continue her Double Team, and shrieking at the sight of the Dragonite still attacking the images are quick to take off. However, they are still not quick enough and Shahinne is singed by the Thunderbolt and sent flying off randomly.

"...Shahinne! Try to resist it!"

The attack is super effective and despite the distance Shahinne is badly hurt; she goes to land ungracefully behind a rock while the two images draw near.

Shahinne — <Mean dragon...! Uck... my feathers!!!> — preens herself briefly, trying to stop shaking.

"You are close to actually win this one, Shahinne... use the rocks to fly around and evade the Dragonite's attacks, and hit him with all you've got!"

After some chirps of protest the Shahinnes take flight again and dive to fly low, circling Dragonite and hiding behind the rocks as they aim for the Pokémon's toes for a Peck assault.

Dragonite: <RRRRRGH!> -stomps around, trying to hit Shahinne, but is running on fumes-

Slateport

-sees Mezzo come in, wonders if there's a way to communicate without moving-

-The White-Haired Teen has been playing some of the J-Team Vs Capcom. Is sad that they neglected to include Pentigan in the playable roster-

Here you go, buddy. -gives him the armband, and a quick pet- Do you want to take Kensei with you? He could pose as your Pokemon. Or you two could track down Pentigan/Latias and ask whoever has the second armband if he can borrow it.

The Shahinne images flutter around Dragonite at a high speed, pecking, pecking and pecking with her Sharp Beak. The Pokémon tries to shake them off, but Shahinne is a pretty good gap prober and has managed to hit Dragonite's elbows and ankles while at it.

-Sunny takes the armband-

Hey, don't put it on here. Go somewhere with more privacy first.

Sunny: <I know, I know.>

-Sunny hears Wolf's comment-

Sunny: <Oh, that sounds like a great idea! I'd love to spend more time with him while I'm here.>

Forecaster: -Spins around firing Energy Balls everywhere-

Sirius: -Lets out a Roar-

-releases Kensei- I'll just call Latias to see if it's okay. -does so-

Latias: Hey, Wolf! Are you here, too?

You're at the convention?

Latias: Of course I am! Maxi Eary had a show.

Cool! Hey, do you mind if my Dewott and his boyfriend borrow the Armband for a bit? They want to explore the con properly.

Latias: Yes. That is absolutely the reason they want it. -wink- Sure, they can have it for the night.

Wally taps a cosplayer on the shoulder and was disappointed to find it wasn't Tagg, prompting the fan to shrug and walk away.

Wally: "Aww..Hey, maybe that's Tagg! Anyhow, I'll catch you both later! Hey Tagg, wait up!"

"Don't get too lost Wally! Geez. Why does everyone here look so familiar?"

Ah, It's one of my colleagues! I'll meet both of you at the hotel later.

Shahinne is already tired after pecking Dragonite A LOT.

"Shahinne, lay down!"

Shahinne lands and is promptly recalled by Silent before Dragonite can Slam her.

"Ugh... one second more and Aunt Salamence is gonna kill me..." Silent checks his Pokéballs and decides to more or less continue that strategy. "Algira, go!"

Silent sends out Algira, and the Masquerain lands still asleep on the side of the pool.

Algira — <...zzzZzzz... ♥~>

"Come on, wake up!"

Read: <Somebody here's loco!> -fires a Muddy Water before losing her last Double Team-

-Grace fires an Icicle Spear barrage at Sirius, before the Roar forces her off the battlefield-

Grace: <Oh, weaksauce!>

Edward: *dragged out to replace Grace*

Sirius, use Wild Charge!

-Sirius charges at Edward while cloaked in electricity-

Forcaster: <Loco? I'll show you loco!> -Fires a crit strength Energy Ball at Read-

I'm glad Nudi's in his ball right now. Forecaster, we're having a talk once this battle's over.

Artesia hopped on a fishing boat and arrived in Slateport not too long ago.
