"Devastator's special to me. I got him when I was little, I've always had him on my team. I used to think he was dark type when I was little until I got told. And I'm not in-training. Just before I started something got me here." Paresse showed her his badge. "Hence I'm almost a gym leader. Now are you going to question or would you like some training?"

Truth in Television there, I used to think Wobbuffet was dark-type.

Rex headed over to the Espeon, sitting Indian style in front of it. He smiled at the Espeon, Zippy waving a paw to him.

Rex: Hi, Shadow. Did you sleep well last night? I hope you didn't stay up too late.

He gestured to the mouse on his head, patting her back gently and causing her to curl her tail.

Rex: This is Zippy, my Raichu. I met her in Kanto. I was going to leave her as a Pikachu, but she thought that was too cliched.

Zippy: <Hey, I'm not some kind of franchise mascot...>

Rex: Where did you meet Forte, Shadow?

Forte: Well, not a problem for me. There's only one Eevee that's weak to rock.

The Nidorino is surprisingly hit by the EQ-imbued punch; however, as he is sent flying, from the spot he was standing on three rocks emerge and start eerily circling Muddy*

The Nidorino levitates in place, trying to check his wound; however as he can't, he growls and waves his way closer to Muddy.

Rex: Liepard...hmmm...I don't know what that Pokemon is. Is it something Forte's sister has? I recall one of her Pokemon being really snarky...

"Alright. Buzzsaw you're up!" The Mandibuzz flew forward. "How about we make a bet to up the stakes? I win you go to dinner with me. You win..." Paresse presented a massive case filled with T Ms. "You get all the T Ms you want? I'm a collector so I've got some Retro ones you might want." He said with a smile. His Pokemon sighed. <"As much as he hates to admit it, he's just like Parisse.">
