Actually, back when I was starting out, they had a Teleport TM, which was discontinued later on. She's obviously been at this for a while, at least as long as I have if not longer to get her hands on one of those.

Not to mention that her battling strategy is pretty similar to mine. Darn it, I knew I should've gone for the Taunt to prevent something like this.

The Blastoise know Roar, and have high-experience, Rain-Dance-boosted Surf to spam. If the Slaking weren't teleported with Slayride, they would presumably be dispersed by those.
