<Shaun: "Did you sleep well?">

"Yeah, I did... How about the rest of you?"

<Lardna: "It was pretty good.">

<Sonny: "Da... Same here.">

<Courtney: "Mmm hmm hmm... Some of us slept a little better than the rest of us...">

<Milo: "What's that supposed to me- Oh. Right...">

-Looks around the room and notices Audrey, Thog, Teala, Vlad, Kat, and Nadia asleep-

<Vlad: "Zzz... What about a hug...? Zzz... Hugs make everything better...">

<Audrey: "Zzz... Look, if you don't look out for each other, there's no way that you're going to make it through that trial! You two share a common source of health for crying out loud!">

<Teala: "Zzz... Pilgrims these days... Why can't they use the entrances that are already there instead of making new ones? This is a shrine to gods, for crying out loud! Zzz... And did they have to shout that moronic word all of the time? What on earth does 'Plasma' even mean?">

<Nadia: "Zzz... Are you going to miss him, Toothless?">

<Toothless: "Yeah, he's really quite something... It's hard to think that we're really not going to be around him for a while...">

<Kat: "Zzz... Oh... It's you again... Heh... Has my brother been much trouble up there...?">

"... Wait a minute, where's Gene and Zoltan?"

-Elsewhere on Shamouti, on a bluff overlooking the town and the sea-

<Zoltan: "Wow! It really is beautiful up here, Gene!">

<Gene: "I know, right?">

<Zoltan: "... Won't the others be worried though?">

<Gene: "Eh, they'll find us soon enough...">

-Two minutes later, leaving the Shamouti Pokemon Center-

<Kat: "Urgh... I can't believe this...">

<Sonny: "Idiot myshi, you would do something like this right now!">

"Well... I send a text to my interns... At least we won't be alone looking..."

<Audrey: "Ugh... We're going to miss the big reunion...">

<Iggy: "Why, was something wrong?">

<Audrey: "I wasn't really checking, but something seemed... Off... I could have sworn that I didn't feel Pleo's Aura at all when Luke left...">

Blossom: *leading the way to Thyme and Tempest's room* <Hello?>

Aqua: <Don't be scared, we just want to be your friends! :3>

Eclair: <And bring you to justice!>

Blossom: *sighs* <Ignore her.>

He frowns, looking confused.

<... News?>

Shamouti Island Shrine

-A short flight on Stratus later brings us to the shrine in the heart of the Shamouti islands.-

Stratus: <Hmm...Wasn't this place where that guy came and tried to steal the legendary birds about ten years ago?>

Harriet: -Gives Stratus a skeptical look.- <Who would be stupid enough to try that?>

Stratus: -Shrugs.- <From what I heard, though, a group of trainers managed to sort things out with Lugia's help. Which was just as well, as if the birds weren't calmed down, they would have gone on to destroy the whole Orange Islands!>

Chord: <Huh. And here we are to make sure that Lugia doesn't do the same. How ironic.>

-All of us cross to the side of the shrine, standing out on the part overlooking the ocean, the three islands of Fire, Ice, and Lightning.-

Treeo: <Wow. That's quite a view.>

???: It is rather beautiful, isn't it?

-Startled, all of us look around to find the source of the unfamiliar voice. However, we don't see anyone...apart from a Slowking.-

Woolly: <A Slowking?>

Jello: <Hi. Do you have a trainer?>

Slowking: A trainer? No, I have no trainer.

-Blinks.- "Is my ability to understand Pokémon acting up, or-?"

Lake: <No, he's speaking English.>

Harriet: <A Slowking that speaks English. Yeah, that's normal. Wait-> -Eyes widen.- <...Are those pants?!>

-Everyone glances down, noticing to thier surprise, that the Slowking is wearing a pair of Jeans.-

Slowking: ...My legs get cold. Now, with that out of the way, I assume that you have come here to return the child of the beast of the sea, have you not?

Woolly: -Nods.- <Yep! That's what we're here for!>

Slowking: As I expected. And where is the young one?

Lake: <In here.> -Holds up his bag.- <Don't worry, it's bigger on the inside.>

Slowking: Mmmhmm, I see. Why not let him out now?

Lake: <I think he's still asleep right now, which is really odd. Surely he would have woken up by now?>

Chord: <Maybe now would be a good time to, you know, take a look?>

Lake: <Yeah, that's probably a good idea...>

Pokémon Center

-Rocky jumps in shock when he hears Eclair mention how she intends to bring them to justice.-

Rocky: <NO! Don't hurt me!>

-The Rhydon hides under one of the beds in fright. Thyme simply shakes her head at this, then goes to let Kim's Pokémon in.-

Thyme: <Oh, hello! You're that Leafeon that talked to me the other day!>

Tempest: -Looks confused.- <I don't remember that...>

Thyme: <You were asleep, sweetie.>

Tempest: <Oh.>

I think it's more the pants than the talking that's weird.

Crochet: <Just pants? Why not a vest too?>

Blossom: *raises a paw* <Hello, Thyme.>

Kim: *looks at Thyme contemplatively* Oh...what a pretty Pokemon. *resists the urge to pet her*

Aqua: <Snakey friend~> *wags her tail*

Eclair: *sniffs under the bed for Rocky*

-decides to go look for someone to talk to; leaves the brothers alone to talk-

Benny:< You mean you don't know?>

-makes sure Meddler's gone-

<Meddler finally told Crewe she had a crush on her. She got rejected and trying to deal with it. Unfortunately for her, kissing Crewe on the cheek yesterday was probably not the best idea.>

So what were you going to tell me?

Solstice:<Oh yes, I had something to tell you. I can't sense the baby Lugia on the island anymore.>

Aurora:<Huh, I can't either.>

I guess Pleo went back with his dad. It would have been nice if he had said goodbye to us before going though.

Shamouti Shrine

Slowking: -Hears Crochet.- Well, if you're offering, I wouldn't vest wouldn't go unappreciated.

-Lake unzips his bag, begining to rummage through it.-

Lake: <Pleo, are you awake? Hmm...Come on, little guy. You're father's going to be here soon.>

Harriet: <Are you sure he hasn't gotten lost in there? Palkia did make the interior into a pocket dimension, after all.>

Jello: <Huh? How?>

Harriet: -Shrugs.-

Lake: <But this hasn't ever happened before...Wait...Oh...Oh no...>

Treeo: <What is it?>

Woolly: <What's wrong?>

Slowking: Is something the matter?

-Lake says nothing, simply pulling the Lugia plushie out of his bag.-

...

Woolly: <Oh no...SOMEONE TURNED PLEO INTO A PLUSHIE!!!>

-Everyone gives Woolly odd looks.-

Woolly: <...Or they could have replaced him with one. Either works...>

Pokémon Center

Rocky: -Shivers.- <Eek! Don't take me away! They made me do it! Or...Did I agree to it? I don't remember...>

Thyme: -Smiles.- <It's nice to see you again, Blossom. Thanks again for coming to talk to me that time.>

Tempest: <Oh! I know who you are now! You were with Lake when he came to rescue Pleo!>

Thyme: <So what brings you here? Did you come to say hello?>

Mandarin South Desert

-Lileep drags him/her/eyself to the pond and stands there half-submerged, basking in sunlight and filtering some noms. Ichtacya hops and pounces around on the water some distance away, busy being happier than everymon else sans Dintel-

Lileep — <Landdweller is annoying...> — swings tentacles.

Algira -flutters around- — <I know, right? She's supposed to be a visitor, but is pretty misbehaving.>

Lileep — <Why misbehaving?>

Algira — <...Oh. Well, honestly... I don't know...> — flies around.

-Thinking for a moment, Algira swirls around and flies upside-down. Lileep however doesnt seem to be weirded out by this, ey merely bends eyr trunk somewhat to tilt the head and stare back at Algira-

Algira — <...Eh, what?>

Lileep -swings tentacles — <You fly weird. Are you a bird?>

Algira — <No, silly, I'm a moth.> — swirls around, flashing pretty colors. — <But oh my, I guess you haven't ever seen a moth?>

Lileep -looks around examining the other team members- — <Not really. What is he?> — points a tentacle at Dintel.

Algira — <Oh that's a Sandshrew... they like to dig around and live in deserts.>

Lileep — <So landdweller.> — makes a sort of angry sound.

Algira — <Er... yes. And the misbehaving one too, and one another.>

-Dintel sits happily atop the rocks, running his claws on the surface of the rocks and polishing them happily.-

-Shahinne and Copahue come to rest besides him-

Copahue — <Hey, Dintel?>

Dintel -turns to the larger bird — <Oh hai!>

Copahue — <Hey... you know, I was flying ahead with Shahinne and we saw something...> — points a wing to the southeast — <There are more [Sandshrew] living there!>

Dintel -tilts head- — <Really? More Sandshrew? Dintel can has go take a look?>

Copahue — <Oh, I can take you there... I guess we should be asking Trainer first though...>

-While Copahue and Dintel talk for a while, Shahinne goes pull out a random leave from a gap on the rocks. The leave turns out to be an Oddish that was hiding-

Oddish — <...Aaaah! Bird! Leave me alone!> — hops around trying to make an away.

Shahinne — <...Oh! Walking plant~> — calmly walks around following the Oddish.

-Hears Woolly-

Muddy: <Oh...>

...Fuck.

Crochet: -Gulps in fear- <This is bad.>

Doc: <What do we do?>

Sentinel: <Hopefully not die.>

Thresher: -Came back with Abigail much earlier- <...Wonderful.>

- Has totally been with Luke, Tagg and the others all along -

Well, that is certainly not good...

Artemis: <Well, why are we still here? Shouldn't we like, go search for him?>

Odette: <I knew it... This would not happen if Guardé were here...> (pouts)

Tulip: <... Odette, get over it, yes.>

- I decide to call Latias to ask her where she is, and if she can try to help us find Pleo -

Qui-Gon looks shocked, his eyes flying wide.

<Whaaaaaat?! But isn't Crewe with... um... Okay, I can't remember who and I've never actually met him, but I'm pretty sure she's dating someone.>

Eclair: <That sounds like a confession to me. Pay the fine or go to jail! >:|>

Blossom: *nods* <We just wanted to see how you were doing. My daughter also wanted to meet you.>

Aqua: *goes over to Tempest* <You look kind of scary, but I bet you're nice. :3>

Kim: *lingers by the door*

-Checks Pokégear, finds Rex's message buried into a pile of insinuations by Ivy-

Oh, wow, didn't consider that he would ask around... betcha Ichtacya will want to talk to Aqua later.

-types a message-

-presses Send, then thinks for a moment-

I need to change my screenname. And my strong password. How the hraka did Maekrite get past that anyway? Hmmm... perhaps I should encrypt my IM profile with GPG...

Rex: *getting dressed in the bathroom*

Ohm: *checks his phone* <It's a message from one of Rex's new friends. :3>

Lian: <Oh, is it the guy with the funny name?>

Minty: <Which one?>

Lian: <The one with the funny Pokemon. :3>

Minty: <...every?>

Lian: *shakes her head* <No, the other one.>

-Jello hears Tagg swear, then instinctively covers the Lugia plushies' ears, until remembering that it isn't actually alive.-

Lugia Plushie: <Great. I spend hours buried in some mon's bag, and now I have slime on me. Wonderful.>

Stratus: <No! No no no! This is bad, this is REALLY bad!>

Harriet: <You don't need to tell me twice! Now we're all doomed for sure!>

Woolly: <How did this even happen?>

Chord: <I'm going to give you a clue: the mon who did this name starts with an F.>

Jello: <...Flare?>

Chord: -Facepalms.- <No, Ferno!>

Jello: <Oh! Who?>

Chord: <Argh! At least Guardé knew what was going on here!>

Treeo: <Are you sure that Ferno did this, Chord?>

Chord: <Well who else has been chasing us all around the Orange Islands trying to steal Pleo from us? Jeez, it was bad enough that he managed to take him the first time, but twice?! Jeez...>

Lake: <...Not again...>

Treeo: <Lake! I know you're upset, but please, don't blue-screen on us now!>

Harriet: -Nods.- <Right, we need to get Pleo back before->

-All of a sudden, the ground starts to shudder as the ocean suddenly grows rough.-

Slowking: The beast of the sea! He's arrived!

Chord: <WHAT?! Now?!>

Woolly: <Oh! NO NO NO! NOT NOW!>

Stratus: <EEEEEEEEEP!>

<"RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!">

-A huge form bursts from the waters, soaring high into the air, it's silver feathers glinting in the sunlight. Normally, the sight of Lugia would fill us with awe, but today, it was quite the opposite.-

Chord: <...We're doomed.>

Jello: <URK!> -Plop!-

Pokémon Center

Rocky: <No please! Don't I get a fair trial, at least?>

Thyme: -Smiles, flicking her tounge out of her mouth.- <Oh, that's nice of you! Me and Tempest always appreciate visitors.>

Tempest: -Smiles at Aqua.- <D'aaaaaaaw, you're adorable!> -Pets her gently.-

- Sees Lugia -

...

Odette: (excitedly) <Big pony!>

... Let's sneak out of here and start searching. The sooner we find him, the better.

Artemis: <But I wanna fight!>

You get a fight if we find the ones responsible, so let's go...

- Begins quietly trying to slip away -

-Watches as Lugia comes down-

<Nathan: "(*sigh*) I guess we should have figured that Gene would have been like this OUTSIDE of the lab too... I just wish that he had told me about this, I would have come...">

<Buggy: "Has he always been like this?">

<Zoe: "Pretty much. He used to go exploring back in the wild, too...">

<Tiamat: "Wait, wha- Oh... That's right... You two are from the same part of Hoenn...">

<Buggy: "How did that happen anyways?">

<Zoe: "Well...">

Moe: "See them anywhere, you tw- OH!"

-Spots Gene and Zoltan coming out from some bushes-

Moe: "There you two are! Tracer's been looking everywhere for you!"

<Gene: "Eh. It's nothing...">

<Tiamat: "Don't get any ideas, Nathan.">

-Aurora is sitting in front of a TV, when she seems to notice something-

Oh? But I thought he had left with Pleo? Unless...

Aurora:<...Oh no...>

Well, this is a problem.

-A short time later, meeting up with Moe, the other interns and Pokemon-

"Thank you so much for your help, you guys."

Moe: "Eh, we just got lucky..."

Kim: *decides to intervene and picks up Eclair, holding her away from Rocky* Don't worry about her. She's extremely impulsive. I believe you've reformed.

Eclair: <Nooo! Don't fall for his criminal mind-games!> *squirms*

Blossom: <Oh, by the way, a friend of mine found this at the beach.> *pulls out a shiny green gem that looks suspiciously like a Chaos Emerald* <I thought you might like it.>

Aqua: *is pet* <Do you know any special techniques? I know how to do Swift. :3>
