Katie: Wow, so many!

..Yeah, I guess.

So you've got a Cyndaquil? I hear they're a good choice for starters.

Seriously, it's on the tip of my tongue...who does this girl remind me of...

Katie: Oh, that's good to here. I mostly picked him because he was such a sweetie pie, all shy and stuff. That, and I like Fire-types, because, well... -hold up a strand of her hair-

It's not the hair. Nobody in the group has red hair like that. Hmm...eyes? Mouth?

So were you planning on taking the Orange Gym Challenge?

Katie: Eventually. I have a lot of training to do first. Have you ever done a Gym Challenge?

-Is feeling very bored, is sitting in the sub slumped over the navigation controls trying to think of where to go-

I did the Sinnoh Gym challenge. Went pretty well, although I never managed to beat the Elite Four.

And I'm sure your team will be ready for the challenge soon. Especially if you catch another Pokemon or two, there's an incredible variety in the archipelago.

Katie: Oh, you're from Sinnoh?

I'm from Unova, actually. It's kind of a long story.

Hmm...

Where are you from?

Katie: Johto. But Professor Oak thought it would be a good idea for me to start my journey here, instead.

Heh. Sounds about like how I ended up in Sinnoh.

Katie: Oh?

Yeah. My parents thought I should learn more about the world and sent me to Sinnoh. Best decision they've ever made.

-yawns-

Oh...it's getting kind of late. It's been nice meeting you, but I think I need to sleep now. Good luck on your Pokemon journey!

-picks up Jab, who has fallen asleep, and goes off to sleep against a wall somewhere-

-After managing to evade most of the Lairon's attacks, Dintel follows some commands that leave him in a position to use his Strength-

— Good thing we've been practising this. Dintel! Shove him away!

-Dintel rolls besides the Lairon and carefully grabs it with his paws, then lifts it and kicks it away.

-Ichtacya and Algira draw an arc with their heads following the Lairon's trajectory...-

Lairon — <Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh~> — falls fifteen meters away, past some bushes.

Dintel — <That was heavy... my arms hurt.>

City Worker — <...Lairon!>

Lairon — <@_@>

Katie: Good night, Every. -goes to the Pokemon Centre to sleep-

-Wakes up-

Hmm, I feel like the world's been silent for several hours.

-wakes up against a building near the hospital-

-blink-

Jab?

Jab: -sticks head out of Every's backpack, looking cheerful- <You weren't up, so I got breakfast. On a related note: you may need more Pecha berries.>

... -facepalm-

-Katie wakes up and goes outside. She notices Every across the square, sitting against a wall-

Katie: -walks over to him- Hello, again! Um...you didn't sleep outside, did you?

- Odette is pecking lightly at my forehead -

Odette: <Wake up, DS! Wake up! Wake up!>

- Opens my eyes slightly, smiling at the little Ducklett -

Good morning, Odette.

Odette: (happily) <Morning!>

Tulip: (is also awake) <Good morning, yes!>

...No, I certainly didn't fall asleep against this wall.
