Felis: <As if...> -still purring-

Ari: <Should I bother taking that from him?>

-Thinks for a moment-

Ari: <Nah.> -flies back to where the others are-

-Felis says nothing, just keeps purring-

He only lets me pet him this way, though. Anyone else tries it, they get scratched.

Yeah, I'm sure.

-Jab purrs loudly-

Thresher: <You can stand on me. I hope I don't hurt you though.>

-Attaches to the pole-

~Some time later in a forest~

Rex: *yawns tiredly* I wonder how far the city is from here.

Rascal: *nudges his leg* <Let's rest here for tonight?>

Rex: You're tired too? *nods* Okay, we can sleep here for a little bit. There doesn't seem to be anything around...but just in case. *lets out Anya, Lian, and Spathi* There. Now we're all watching each other's backs. *sits against the base of a nearby tree, reclining under the shade*

*Rex's team spreads out. Lian and Anya head a bit further off to spar. Rascal, Aqua, and Minty decide to rest near Rex. Spathi decides to rest by himself, still a little irritated at being left out of the tournament.*

Rex: *looks over at Spathi before sighing* Maybe I should have let him do the tournament.

-After finishing up getting the villagers out of the caverns I try and think about what I want to do now-

-Ari lands next to Squirtle-

Ari: <Mission Complete.>

-jenna has broken up the fight between Vinny and Bow-

Jenna: What the heck's gotten into you guys?

-Star has been watching the fight the whole time-

What the heck was that about?

*Nearby, Aqua and Rascal are discussing berries with Minty*

Aqua: <My favorite kinds of berries are the sour ones. I have to drink a lot of water afterwards, but I like water anyway. Dry ones are okay too.>

Rascal: <I like the spicy ones, myself. Tamato are pretty good. I've heard that Spelon can even help improve your flame breathing abilities, though I've never had one myself.>

Minty: <Ohh...I wonder what other kinds I'd like. I think my favorite is sweet, so far.>

Rex: *watching them* Hmm, I should get a Net Ball for Minty in the next town. At the very least, I can scan his data for the Pokedex right now. *reaches into his pocket, feeling something unfamiliar* Huh? ...oh right! *pulls out the armband* I almost forgot about this. Heh...I must be really out of it if I forgot about clothes falling out of the sky. *turns it over in his hands, looking it over* Hmmm...doesn't seem to have any kind of identifying features on it. *shrugs* Oh well. I guess there's no problem as long as it fits. *slides the armband over his wrist, using his other hand to set it in place* Huh...perfect fit.

-After a talk with Rex, I am handed over Laplace the Lapras-

Ichtacya (moves ears around) — <What? What was that?>

Dintel — <What was what...? *yawns*>

-Ichtacya narrows her eyes and looks around for danger-

-After the team has said their goodbyes to Rex and his team, they are gone via teleportation-

-walking around the streets-

— Guys? You don't mind if we go to the mountaintown there first?

Ichtacya (looks up) — <...Looks like good exercise. I'm gonna walk, right?>

— Yeah.

Ichtacya — <:3>

Dintel — <...zZz...>

Algira in a Locked Ball — <Come on! Let me out! *sniff* Helios! Helios~!>

Rex: *gets a tingly feeling in his stomach the moment he slides the wristband on* Whoa... *covers his mouth, letting out a hiccup* Did I <eat> somet<hin>g funny to<day>? *scratches the side of his face, feeling a little itchy all of a sudden*

-Abby balances on Thresher, trying to avoid his spikes-

Abigail: <OK, start rolling... slowly...>

Thresher: -Starts rolling really slowly-

Abigail: -carefully shifts around Thresher's spikes, until reaching high enough to leap onto a ledge-

<Whew! Sorry about that! You can hop over here, right?>

Thresher: <Yeah.>

-Hops off-

Rex: *keeps scratching, feeling a little funny* Head feels...weird. *spots start to appear before his eyes, the boy wobbling back and forth a little*

Rascal: <And some regions like Kanto don't have the proper soil fo-> *THUD!* <...Rex!>

*Rex's has fallen unconscious, his eyes wide open and blank*

Rascal: *rushes to his side* <Rex? Rex!>

Aqua: <Gr-grandpa?>

Minty: *worriedly* <Wake up, Mr. Berry Man!>

Aqua: <Grandpa?>

Rex: *stares* <Aqua? D-did you just speak English?>

Minty: <Can all humans do that?>

Rascal: <U-um, Rex...you might want to take a look at yourself...>

Rex: <What the heck is going on he...> *looks down, noticing his short stubby legs, his red spots, and his short stubby tai- ...what* <...>

Ichtacya (beams happiness) — <I-I'd be proud, yes!>

-We go trotting uphill while Copahue is watching us from above, soaring the sky as he looks for some bird mon to do some chatter with-

Rascal: <R-Rex?>

Spinda!Rex: <AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!>

Rascal: <Rex.>

Spinda!Rex: <AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!>

Rascal: <Rex...>

Spinda!Rex: <AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!>

Rascal: <Rex!> *paw slap* <Get a hold of your man...err, mon!>

Spinda!Rex: *slapped* <Ow...okay, okay, I'm calm. I'm calm. There has to be a rational explanation for why I suddenly have spots and a...a...tail!> *freaks out again*

Aqua: *blink blink* <Grandpa sure is weird...>

Minty: <Yeah. You'd think he'd be happy to have some fur.>

~Another couple smacks to the face later~

Spinda!Rex: *cheeks are sore* <Okay...I'm fine now. Really.>

Spathi: *comes over* <I get to smack him next time.>

Spinda!Rex: *clears his throat* <A-anyway...upon further inspection of my person, I have come to a very definitive conclusion.>

Rascal: <What's that?>

Spinda!Rex: <This is all just a dream! I'm not a Spinda, and I can't speak Pokemon. Therefore, this is all just a dream resulting from bad Sitrus Berries and my already overactive imagination.> *grins*

Spathi: <...>

Minty: <...Should we mention the shiny thing on his wrist?>

Aqua: *grinning* <No, this is funny.>

Thresher: -Sees a whole bunch of rotating blocks- <This is gonna be tough.>

Abigail: <Timing doesn't really work... we have to just keep our balance the whole way, huh?>

<At least you can latch on with your spikes...>
