Chord: <Yeah, I gathered around about the time she picked me up and threw me at Every.>

Diesel: <SHE WHAT?>

Spiny: <Hello, person!> -bites Luke's hand-

Hey, I told you to stop that!

-slows down as we approach the clearing and motions for Robin and Hecate to move off. The two start coordinating the surrounding Pokemon, Hecate putting up Illusions where necessary and Robin notifying them as to the locations of the sentries. Ian silently knocks out two sentries—a Pidgeotto and a Farfetch'd—and we peer into the clearing, Hecate erecting another Illusion around us, her concentration now clearly strained-

-the place is full of Pokemon. Aipom and Ambipom hang from tree branches, Mightyena mill around seemingly aimlessly, a small group of Cherrim and Burmy speak in a corner, and a tiny knot of Aron, Geodude, and Rhyhorn are being overseen by a Lickitung. Looking over the whole thing is a massive Arcanine, with a small Kadabra by her side-

-finally I see what I'm looking for. Off to one side, surrounded by various Mightyena, Ambipom, Raticate, and Shitry, is the kid and his team. Hunter is tied to a tree by a thick vine, and is heavily favoring one leg. He has a black eye and looks half-unconscious. Off to the side, his team is similarly tied up. The Kricketune has her claws pulled well away from the vines, and none of them have any vines near their teeth or claws. All look thoroughly defeated-

-having seen enough, I turn away. Robin gives me a nod to signal that everyone is in position, and Hecate, with less Illusions to hold up, looks much better. She quickly takes on the guise of a Mightyena. I nod once and she disappears into the woods, evidently looking for a better place to sneak in undetected-

-I motion to Meddler to move away from the clearing silently, following with Ian and Robin-

Chord: -Slightly shocked.- <Yeah, she just picked me up and hurled me right at him. Almost gave him a Heart attack too, I bet.>

Pleo: <...Um...What does Obtuse mean?>

-With Luke, Every, and Mezzo-

"Hello, Spiny."

<Gene: "Oh hey, there.">

<Thog: "So how's it been traveling with a human?">

<Teala: "... Wait, what did they mean that you like to bit-"

-Watches Spiny bite Luke's hand-

<Teala: "... Oh.">

<Iggy: "... That's going to be dangerous later...">

<Nadia: "Just keep your mouth away from my hide, and we'll both be happy.">

Diesel: <I cannot believe it! How could she do that?> -grinds antennae agitatedly, producing a howling noise-

-via phone-

— A man in black, you say? In a Gyarados sub? — reminds himself of a week prior and gets a slight idea — I might know him. Is he the kinda mysterious guy that seems like would never reveal his plots in hs posts? Do you have a name or other description?

-I grimace in pain as Spiny bites me, but otherwise don't seem to be bothered.-

Stratus: <OH! LUKE!>

"It's okay, I've got this..."

-I calmly try to remove Spiny from my hand.

Aside.-

Chord: <I dunno'. Harriet gave her a nice big Night Slash, though. That probably showed her.>

-attempts to pull Spiny off and ends up hurting her hand-

Gah! Sorry, Luke. He's just a bit of a pain to deal with.

Felis: <It means your head is as thick as a tree.>

-blink-

Diesel: <Yeah, I doubt it. I've given her a Night Slash or two of my own, she's just as much a jerk as ever.>

Ranger 1: Uh, He has a Lopunny.

-motions for silence and has Robin translate telepathically instead-

Yeah. We'll hear when Hecate either releases him or gets caught. In the mean time, all we can do is keep out of sight.

-mentally facepalms-

And what is he doing there of all places, anyway?

— Yeah. Name's Pentigan. He's been supporting PEFE in a series of activities since before the Gold Conference, so yeah, he can go in, dunno if you want to keep him under check... — thinks for a moment, mumbles — Just warn him of the pink berries. Black on pink looks simply too weird.

-With Luke-

<Teala: "Wait... How do we get him off again?">

<Nadia: "... I think that I have a way...">

-Leans close to Spiny and gives a menacing snarl-

"It's okay, Mezzo! This isn't the first time I've been bitten. Just be careful trying to get him off."

-Sees Nadia snarling at Spiny.-

"Oh! Good thinking, Nadia."

Pleo: <Um...I've never heard that saying before, so okay, I guess.> -Smiles awkwardly.-

Chord: <Oh, well that sucks.> -Thinks.- <Well, if she's such a Troll, why does Every keep her around?>

Ranger 1: Alright then. I'll let him in.

-opens the gate for Pentigan-

-To Audrey-

I'm pretty sure it is.

Diesel: <Well, it was a concession on my part. I actually wanted Every to get a Chatot as a flier, but he said he really wanted a Drifblim. Partly because he likes Ghost-types, and partly because he's more comfortable flying with a Drifblim than with a bird or similar.>

-Recalls pokemon and walks in-

So what is this place? And why've you got it under so much security?
