Ribbons: (looks over at Tagg) <Uh... Where?>

Rex: Good for her! She should be proud.

Aqua: <Wow, that's big! Mommy would probably like that place.>

Ichtacya — <Sure she would! :3 And the forests are so big that one can go inside and get lost for weeks! That's how I evolved...> — puffs chest.

-I finish packing my stuff and think for a moment before recalling Copahue and Shahinne-

— Well... I think I'm going to explore the city for a while. Algira? Ichtacya?

Guess not. We passed it on the way down here. It's sparsely inhabited and populated with dangerous Pokemon like Tyranitar and Skarmory. When we were in the alternate timeline Tracer, Luke, and I saw things there.

Ribbons: <Oh? I'm guessing those things weren't pleasant?>

-To Nautilus-

<Gene: "Oh, we're some friends of these guys.">

<Nadia: "Yeah, we ran into them about a week ago...">

So after we met the local Marowak tribe holding the Gym Leaders, they told us that some strange Marowak was giving them TMs to better combat the native predators in return for keeping them there. We deduced that it was likely a Zoroark, and we scoured Sevault Canyon looking for him. What we found...

-Is on an island, taking a closer look at the armband from the shipwreck, it appears to be two other armbands haphazardly fused together more or less evenly. It emits sparks as I bring my hand closer to the inside. I decide not to try it on yet-

Nautilus: <Oh, I see.>

Pleo: <You don't have to worry about them, King Nautilus! They're both really nice, too! So, can I go with them? Pleeeeeease?>

-Following Nadia's example from the other day, Pleo gives Nautilus the bird-dragon equivalent to puppy-dog eyes.-

Chord: <Aww! You're already rubbing off on the kid, Nadia!>

-Nautilus is interrupted by the sound of my Xtransceiver ringing.-

Nautilus: <Huh? What in Kyogre's name is that?>

"Oh, that's me. Sorry."

-I pull out my Xtransceiver and answer it.-

Pleo: -Sticks his head over my shoulder.- <Hi!>

<Milo: "Yeah, those guys were a bunch of real class acts...">

<Audrey: "I'd ask what they were up to... But I think that I got an idea after reading your Aura, Tagg... That is low...">

"Oh, hello Luke. Have you been taking care of yourself for the past week?"

"Oh yeah, we've all been fine for the most part. Plus Gene and Nadia have been a pleasure to have around."

Pleo: <Oh, Hello Tracer! How are you?>

Nautilus: -Blinks.- <Um...>

Nautilus: <Apparently that is the case...>

Well for everyone who isn't psychic, Aura-sensitive, or just plain there, we found this mother Tyranitar telling her children to be strong as they were to be separated, press-ganged into serving the forces of that damn otter. Mere children!

"Hello, Pleo! Have you been doing alright?"

<Nadia: "He's been fine, Tracer. We spent the last week at the reef.">

<Gene: "A little soggy, but it wasn't all bad...">

<Teala: "So... Were we all going to meet up somewhere?">

"Meet up? Yeah, we can do that. We were just about to come back up anyway. we're just pulling a few strongs so that we can bring Pleo with us."

Pleo: -Nods.- <Yep! I might get to go with these guys! Isn't that cool?>

Lake: <So, um...can we take Pleo with us, then?>

Nautilus: -Nods.- <Yes, you may. BUT! There a few things that you mustn't do with him.>

Lake: <Oh. What are they?>

Nautilus: <Well, first: as long as he is traveling with you, you are not permitted to take him beyond the limits of the Orange Islands.>

Lake: <Right...>

Nautilus: <Second, I want you to check in on us every few days so that we can be sure that he is being well cared for.>

Lake: <Hu-huh...>

Nautilus: <And finally, you are NOT to allow that Delta Feraligatr, or anyone else, for that matter, to get their hands on him. It is your priority to keep him safe at all costs. Understand?>

Lake: -Nods.- <Yes. We all understand.>

Crochet: -Is staying silent with Doc-

So after that we ended up fighting the Zoroark and his cronies, and we ground them into the canyon floor. The only reason we didn't let that Tyranitar kill them was because they were needed alive to show the Cubone tribe, because trust me, if it wasn't for that, I would've let her.

-On the Sea of Kyogre-

"Pulling a few strings? What exactly are you up to?"

<Iggy: "So did we want to meet at the same spot as last time then?">

"Well, we're just trying to get the Pokémon in charge of the Reef to let Pleo come with us for a while. From what Lake told me, the poor thing didn't want to be left by himself. Right?"

Pleo: -Nods.- <Yeah, you guys are so nice. And without my Dad here, I'd be all alone without you...>

-Strokes Pleo's neck.-

"See? Hopefully we'll get the go ahead though. Wait...

...

...Oh, we have, apparently."

Pleo: <We have? Oh! YAY!>

-Pleo leaps off my shoulder and swims over to Nautilus, giving the Lapras a big hug.-

Pleo: <Thank you, King Nautilus! I'll promise I'll be good while I'm gone, okay?>

Nautilus: -Blushes, slightly surprised.- <...Okay, Pleo. I trust that you will.>

"So...Yeah, same place as before, then."

-Feels an uncomfortable pressure, as if someone, somewhere, sometime, was somehow commenting on things comparable to arming an entire wild Nidoran population with military training-

-listening to Aqua-

Ichtacya — <Well, Trainer said we are exploring the islands. We are trying to get a new partner used to the ambience...> — raises ears — <Wonder if you guys can come, Rascal... unless your Trainer has other plans?>

-With Tagg-

<Audrey: "Yeah, if they were going to stick those Pokemon with that prick, I don't blame you for feeling that way. What did happen to them anyways?">

<Milo: "We wound up pawning them off to the adoption programs in Kanto after everything blew over...">

<Audrey: "... What.">

<Milo: "Yeah, I know... But we figured that they at least deserved a shot after all of the other class acts that got second chances...">

<Audrey: "... I sure hope they made something of it, but if they were doing that to other Pokemon, somehow I'm not terribly confident that they would have...">
