-walks out into the hallway and spots Every-

Yeah. I would have offered you a spot in my room, but you looked so comfortable against that wall.

-Has totally been helping DS search for the egg.-

I probably was. Walls are surprisingly comfortable once you've gotten used to them.

-Gets woken up due to the commotion following the Ducklett egg getting stolen, though considering the kind of dream I was having, it's a pleasure-

And I've got none of the sniffers with me. Great.

Treeo: <Yeah, you could use it to pin Guardé down whenever he charges at something bigger than him.>

Harriet: -Chuckles.- <Okay, I'm definitely asking him about it later, then. That is far too awesome an idea to not happen.>

Lake: <Huh. I guess that's okay. Just as long as you don't hurt him.>

Harriet: -Smirks.- <I'll try not to.>

Where Guardé, Artemis, Mira and Odette are

Guardé: -Smiles at Odette.- <Aww. You need not fear, young Odette, for I am a brave hero who has sworn to protect the innocent from foul beasts such as those Sneasel! And I swear that I shall never allow harm to come to you or your lovely parents for as long as I still live!

Anyway, I think we're nearly there now. I'm sure your trainer shall be pleased to see that you're still alive! And I...I shall receive a hero's welcome for my valiant efforts!>

... Sneasel?

Ribbons: (nods) <Correct. Two of them apparently.>

... So, two Sneasel stole my egg!?

Ribbons: <Don't panic, DS. From what I can tell, Artemis and Mira must've given chase and gone to retrieve the egg.>

Well, I guess we better go find them!

Tulip: (tilts head) <What is a Sneasel, yes? And why would they want the egg, yes?>

Silvermist: <Breakfast. Sneasels eat eggs.>

Tulip: <Eek! Why would they do that, yes?>

Meanwhile

Odette: (happily) <Quack! Quack!>

Artemis: (looks around) <... Are you sure? To me it still looks like we have some way to go...>

Mira: (shrugs) <I guess we lost track of how far into this place we went when we chased after those Sneasel... But, if we keep going at this pace, we should find our way back soon... I think.>

Well, the window's wide open, and there's some Sneasel hairs on the windowsill, so that would explain it.

Guarde: <Hmm. Well, I did teleport to your location, so I had no way of judging the distance between here and your location. Such is the problem with teleportation.> -Sighs.- <I wish I had some sort of noble steed to carry us around, like a majestic Rapidash or Arcanine! Then I could give you a ride home like a true hero!>

-An Arcanine sits on a ledge, taking a look at Tangelo Island beyond the sea. He lifts his paw to examine a small bag with a couple of Shards he is carrying-

???? — <Great... Now how the heck do I get these to the island? It's not like I can easily go stowaway...>

Um, Sunny, why don't you go play with Kensei or something?

Sunny: <Oh, sure!> -wanders off to find Kensei-

I thought him getting a boyfriend would make him less of a shipper. Boy, was I ever wrong.

- Looks over at Wolf -

Ribbons: (examining the foot prints) <I'm guessing we can try following their paw prints as far as they go...>

- Some rustling can be heard in some nearby bushes, before a somewhat frightened looking Plusle runs out of them -

Plusle: (panting, looks around and notices Artemis, Mira, Odette and Guardé) <H-hey you guys... I wasn't here! You never saw me!> (runs off)

Odette: <... Quack?> (tilts head)

Artemis: <... What was that all about?>

- Shortly afterwards, an Arbok crawls out from the bushes the Plusle came out from -

Arbok: (looks around) <Hmm... Where did that little Plusssssle go?>

Odette: <Quack?> (starts walking towards the Arbok, but Artemis stops her)

Artemis: <Odette, don't go over there. I think that Arbok may be hungry...>

Mira: <Just stand still... Maybe it'll go away...>
