Maestro Vinollo — <Apprentices, gather here.>

-Maekrite, Roa, Hyzenthlay, Ioki and Yonehaiin walk and sit besides Vinollo, some guards behind them-

-The Houndoom accompanying Vinollo nods and presents a small rock, carved to look like a small Inlé; before the apprentices, she uses her fire powers to set the stone on fire, prompting the three apprentices to flatten their ears or gulp-

Maekrite — <...I don't really like fire...>

Vinollo — <Now you will be branded with the seal of Inlé. Like the royals who scout our forests and valleys you will roam our colony furtively, attentively, yet never truly alone.> — raises a paw to give a wordless command.

-Two Nidorin@ guards stand besides each apprentice, to hold them and offer support-

Vinollo — <When the hero of myth fought the Elil on the moon he left his power behind, made into stone, for us to use and protect the Colony; but that we don't use this power to become Royal Evolutions does not mean that we can't protect our lands, not at all...>

-The Houndoom holds the now vivid-red stone in her muzzle and walks before the apprentices; Vinollo himself moves to the side-

"Hmm... Do you suppose that there would be a way to try and narrow down the potential islands that they would be held on?"

-Vinollo nods at Roa, then at the Houndoom. She moves forward while the Nidorina guard besides Roa prompts her to raise her left paw-

Vinollo — <You have offered yourself for the fate of this Colony. Ensure our peace. Be unseen. And do not bring harm to the Colony. State your name, rank, and purpose in life.>

-Maekrite and Hyzenthlay are moved forwards to be the next in line-

Well, I doubt they'd be located on any of the really populated islands, so we should be narrowing our search to the nearly deserted islands.

I don't have much knowledge of the Sevii and Orange Islands, I'm afraid. Which ones would those be?

-Hyzenthlay is moved next in line-

Hyzenthlay♀ — <I'm Hyzenthlay of the Servitore. My purpose is to reveal the future that awaits to this Colony.>

-Vinollo nods, and the Nidoran is branded as well-

Vinollo — <You move in silence, hidden beneath the light, and fight the tharn with determination. This courage, this spirit... don't let it become less than it is now.> — moves to the side — <This seal will allow you to request meeting with the elders and the lorekeepers. Go wait for the others.>

-Maekrite is pushed forwards while Yonehaiin is moved to the line, while a small Nidoran♀ moves from outside some trees to observe, hidden from the rest of the audience-

Vinollo — <You have offered yourself for the fate of this Colony. Ensure our peace. Be unseen. And do not bring harm to the Colony. State your name, rank, and purpose in life.>

Maekrite — <I am Maekrite. I am a Milite, an Owsla. And my purpose is to protect our human, Silent.>

-Vinollo stares for a moment, then allows the Houndoom to brand Maekrite-

— ...Hope that doesn't hurt much...

Vinollo — <You have good experience and heroic resolve, and can move within the human world as few of us can. With this seal, you will be allowed access to our deposit of berries and TMs in the city, and you will be able to request messengers of any of our allied species.> — motions to the side — <Return to the others.>

-While Yonehaiin is moved forwards, Vinollo retreats for a moment and points the Pidgeotto waiting above the bushes to stand near Maekrite-

-Maekrite simply turns his head to me and nods, but his eyes don't hide his happiness-

-Has been reuniting with each of my mons, and restoring their memories-

-It is now time to talk to Yanmega-

-Roa moves off to the side with a sigh of relief, her eyes lit up with no attempt to hide her happiness-

I'm busy having a little Xiaolin Showdown marathon. God, I love this show. Did anyone else watch it as a kid?

I've seen a few episodes, but never watched it regularly.

-Rize moves away and goes talk to a Yanma who has come looking for him; he curses under his breath and asks the Yanma to wait for him a little-

I used to watch that show when It came on Cartoon Network.

-I send out Yanmega-

Yanmega: <Oh! Have we been freed finally? ...Master, you don't look like you're in good health! What's happened?>

I was locked in a cell.

Yanmega: <Oh, you poor thing! Don't worry, I'll take care of you!>

That won't be necessary. The doctors here are doing a good job. But thank you...

Yanmega: <Is something the matter?>

-I take a deep breath, before explaining everything. The timeline, and what happened to her in the normal line-

Yanmega: <...I remember now. Those Zoroark.>

-Yanmega seems distressed, now remembering the pain she had endured right before death-

...I'm so sorry... Sorry I couldn't save you... I... I...

Yanmega: <It's okay. I didn't charge that Zoroark expecting to come out alive. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.>

But I could have done something...

Yanmega: <You did what you could. And what I did was the least I could do in thanks of years of your company and leadership. Don't worry about a thing.>

<Goon!Purugly: "Oh for the love of-">

<Goon!Mandibuzz: "Come on! Get a hold of yourself!">

<Goon!Aggron: "(*whimper*) Y-You didn't see them! Th-They went through 120 of us here yesterday!">

<Goon!Bisharp: "Ugh... Lousy coward...">

-To group-

<Goon!Mandibuzz: "What do you want? The gym's closed for renovations thanks to your antics!">

<Goon!Bisharp: "Not to mention the ferry buildings are friggin' insane now... Glad I'm not on security duty there anymore...">
