Maybe if I retrace my steps, I'll be able to find my way back?

-sends out Blobble to cause a suitable distraction and slips into the Battle Subway-

- At Scolipede and Artemis' castle -

- Mira is putting together a team, and is giving them their instructions on how to find the Dark Stone -

Random Shiftry: (aside, to a random Gardevoir) <I don't get it. How can Mienshao be so sure about where we should start searching for the Dark Stone?>

The Gardevoir: <Well... We're not 100% sure, but we suspect that Mienshao may be the one who was responsible for the disappearences of the Light and Dark Stones.>

Shiftry: <... Oh.>

Mira: <All right, everyone. Go out there now, and find that Dark Stone before the Resistance does!>

- The team of Pokémon leave to begin their search -

-the messenger Murkrow flies to Team Plasma's Artemis and Scolipede's castle-

Messenger Murkrow: <Message from Black City! It's urgent!>

Shadow: <Why are we going this way?>

Sunny: <We need to find the resistance base. We'll be safe there.>

Shadow: <Sunny...the resistance is dead. We destroyed all of their bases.>

Sunny: <Then we start a new one. Someone needs to stand up for what's right.>

Shadow: <You really are insane.

But...come to think of it, the resistance may not be completely gone. I know that the bird is still alive.>

Sunny: <See, there's always someone fighting on the good side.>

-Sunny and Shadow walk into Nimbasa City-

Barb: <Ready?>

-All the bugs nod.-

Barb: <Show no mercy, mons. attack!>

-The Galvantula move first, all of them leaping out of the forest on the edge of the more and firing Thunderbolts at the group.-

Unite: -Eyes go wide.- <HOLY->

Harriet: <WHOA!>

Woolly: <YIKES!>

-Thinking quickly, Unite defends himself with a Protect shield, Woolly throws up a Light Screen, Wulfric darts out of the way with Extremespeed, Flare leaps into the air, Treeo retreats into a nearby grove of trees, and Harriet files out of the way.>

Pollen: <MOVE IN!>

-The rest of the bugs emerge from the trees, the Durant screeching horribly as the rush to attack, while the Scolipede let out fierce roars.-

Flare: <Jeez! Look at all of them!>

Wulfric: <Oh dear...>

Unite: <WE CAN TAKE THEM! COME ON!>

-Unite swoops in an Slashes a Scolipede with his talons, quickly retreating before the huge insect can retaliate.-

Flare: <He's right! We're not scared of some dumb Bugs! Even if there's a whole load of 'em!>

Harriet: <Let's show them just who they're dealing with!>

-Harriet begins spinning rapidly like a Drill as she dives at a Galvantula. The Honchkrow strikes the bug, Drilling it hard and doing some major damage. The other Galavantula aim Thunderbolts at bird, but Flare breaths a Flamethrower at them, allowing Harriet time to retreat.-

Escavalier #2: <After that Grovyle! We can't let him escape!>

-Two of the Scolipede and a Galvantula rush into the trees after Treeo.

Big mistake.

The Grovyle in question stands camouflaged in the tree branches, waiting for just the right moment to strike.-

Scolipede #4: <Darn it, where is he?>

Galvantula #2: <He can't have gone far...>

Treeo: <Okay. I've got to get it right this time.> -Sighs.- <Hope this works...>

-Treeo waits for the right moment, then strikes by leaping out of the tree. As he falls past the Scolipede, he feeds energy into his Leaf just as he strikes the insect, managing to preform a perfect Leaf Blade attack. As the huge centipede roars in pain, the Grass Pokémon then lands on the, a smirk of triumph on his face.-

Treeo: <Now we're talkin'.>

Glavantula #2: <THERE! Get him!>

-Treeo leaps out of the way as a Signal Beam and several Poison Stingers strike the patch of ground where he was a moment before. The two Pokémon continue to fire at him as he leaps up the tree branches and into the safety of the foliage.-

Mira: <Hmm... Another message? Follow me.>

- Mira escorts the Murkrow to Artemis -

Mira: <My queen! Another message from Black City has arrived!>

Artemis: <Oh, really? What is it this time?>

Messenger Murkrow: <Dire news! The traitor has taken over Black City! Our forces tried to fight him off, but we were no match!>

-has snuck past a few random pokemon, and manages to find the tunnel, only to see that it is blocked off-

Uh-oh...

<Hey! Put your hands up where I can see them!>

Oh no.

-a blade pokes into my back-

-raises hands slightly-

<There we go. You! Kricketune over there! Go warn the others!>

A Random Kricketune: <Yes sir!> -begins rubbing its armblades together, producing a loud warning song-

Huh...why is that so familiaRGH! -clutches head-

-behind me, a second Kricketune takes a step back in surprise- <Wha—>

Aagh...sorry, would love to stay, but...erk...I simply must dash. -runs for the exit, weaving back and forth and continuing to clutch my head in pain-

Artemis: <Hmm... Is that so?> (thinks for a moment) <... Seems we may have to take special measures with this one...> (smirks) <Say, Mienshao... How is that project Scolipede's scientists are working on coming along?>

Mira: <I would not know that, my queen. You would have to ask him yourself.>

Artemis: (snickers) <Nya-ha-ha... Maybe once it is finished, we could test it's strength against the traitor... Nya-ha-ha-ha!>

DS, would you mind playing Skyla!zoroark for me?

-withdraws Zoroark and Chatot then goes outside-

Escavalier #1: <GO FOR THE SHEEP! The Sheep is our priority!>

-A bunch of Durant, backed by the Escavalier rush at Woolly.-

Woolly: <Uh-oh!>

-The Escavalier charges at Woolly.-

Escavalier #1: <Don't worry, we won't hurt you! Too badly...>

Woolly: <Oh, how nice...>

-Woolly clenches her fist, which begins to smoke.-

Woolly: <...Shame I can't say the same.>

Escavalier #1: <Eh?>

-At the last possible moment, Woolly slugs the Escavalier hard with a Fire Punch, badly burning the bug and knocking it back a fair distance.-

Escavalier #1: <Aah...>

Durant #5: <Um...Get her!>

-The Durant leap at Woolly and try to bite her, but the Ampharos shakes them off by running an electrical charge through herself, the Durant screeching horribly as the electricity runs through them.-

Woolly: <Eurgh! I'm glad Luke isn't here. This would freak him right out.>

-Felis wakes up in his cell, and notices the bloody stump where his tail used to be-

Felis: <Heh. That's all they took? Sol's goons are as incompetent as always.>

-in Nimbasa City, Sunny and Shadow spot the destroyed roof of the Battle Subway building-

Sunny: <This is horrible...>

Shadow: <I told you, we took this place down. There's nothing left.>

-Sunny sees Every running from the building-

Sunny: <Hey, I know him! He's with the resistance!>

Shadow: <Then follow him!>

-Sunny and Shadow both run toward Every-

-nearly trips over Sunny and Shadow-

Ohhh...hey Sunny. You might not want to go in there, it's kind of ARGH infested by Bug Pokemon. -continues running- Bring your friend and URK! let's get out of here!

- "Elesa"'s Chatot hides in a tree, occasionally using Hyper Voice to blast bug types that get too close to her away with a soundwave -

Hydreigon: -Roars and starts firing Flamethrowers at every Bug type she can see-

Sunny: <Right. Which way do we go?>

Anoms not in pinwheel forest... Maybe we should look in straiaton city!

Elgyem: <Good idea.>

-elgyem teleports me to striaton city-

-sends out June,September,August,March,and April-

Ok, guys, be prepared to fight.

-Thinks about sending out Zoroark, but sends out Chatot instead-

-september grabs Chatot-

I'm going to ask again: Where's the real Skyla?

Um...there are only three ways out of this city. Driftveil, Lostlorn Forest, and Castelia. Which do you think is safer?

-The two Kricketune exit the Subway-

Kricketune 1: <Come back here!>

Sunny: <Hmm. Driftveil, then?>

-Sunny and Shadow see the two Kricketune-

Shadow: <Wherever we go, we'd better start moving quickly.>

Scolipede #4: <OH ARCEUS, THEY HAVE A HYDREGION!>

Pollen: <Use Bug type attacks on it, it's part Dark Type!>

Barb: <Okay, the Crustle! Send in the Crustle!>

-The two Crustle enter the battlefield, scuttling towards Unite's team. Flare and Wulfric turn their attention way from fighting the lesser bugs as they spot the two.-

Flare: <Quick, charge an Aura Sphere. I've got a plan...>

-Wulfric nods, then begins charging an Aura Sphere as Flare moves into attack. The Crustle attempts to slash Flare with an X-Scissor as she gets close, but the Blaziken skillfully leaps over the Bug punching the back of the shell with a Brick Break attack.

Angered, the Crustle spins around and slashes Flare, managing to hit her this time before she can react.-

Flare: <Argh...Wulfric! Now!>

-The Lucario tosses an Aura Sphere at the Crustle, aiming right at the cracked part of it's shell. The ball of energy explodes on impact, reducing the shell to rubble.-

Crustle #1: <Eep! I'm naked!>

Flare: <That's the least of you worries now, buddy.>

-Flare slams the bug with a Blaze kick, causing it to faint.-

Crustle #2: <STEVE! NOOOOO!!!>

Driftveil it is! Right turn!

-ushers Sunny and Shadow into an alleyway-

-The two Kricketune reach the alleyway-

Kricketune 1: <Do you think they went in here?>

Kricketune 2: <Nah. They'd never think of that.>

-The two continue running forwards-

Okay...that was lucky. -clutches head again- AAAGH!

Sunny: <Are you all right?>

Hydreigon: -To Crustle #2- <You're mine!>

-Roars and unleashes an Outrage-

Yeah...fine.

What happened? There was that scream, and then I was just suddenly in Nimbasa. I don't think I was teleported...It's like I've somehow ended up in an alternate dimension.

Come on, let's go!

-The Crustle's shell is shattered as the result of Hydregion's Outrage.-

Crustle #2: <I REGRET NOTHING!!!>

-The Bug type scurries back into the undergrowth in hopes the the two Leavanny field medics can nurse him back to health.-

Crustle #2: <Steve...>

-Meanwhile, in the nearby grove of trees, the two Scolipede and the Galvantula can do nothing to fend of Treeo's repeated assaults.-

Galvantula #4: <WHERE IS HE?!>

-The spider Pokémon fires Thunderbolts and Signal Beams into the tree branches, in hoping of scoring a lucky hit as the Scolipede try to knock some of the trees over.

Treeo, meanwhile, waits until one of the Scolipede rams the tree he's hiding in, then drops down and lands on the bug type's head, quickly grabbing it's antenna.-

Treeo: <Epic mount acquired.>

Scolipede #2: <WHAT THE-? GAAAH!!!>

-The Scolipede thrashes and bucks in a frenzy, trying to dislodge Treeo from it's head, but the Grovyle holds on.-

Treeo: <Let's see if this'll work...>

-Treeo manages to "steer" the Bug type by pulling it's antenna, driving him right into the other Scolipede and Galvantula as it rushes out of the trees, sending them flying.-

Scolipede and Galvantula: <AAAAAHHHHH!!!>
