-looks at the horizon for a moment, then focuses again on examining random trainers...-

???? #1 — <Marli! Wake up!> — jumps on top of mom.

???? #2 — <Parli! Nom time!> — starts scratching dad.

-After trying to calm Cinder down (And failing) I recall Cinder and leave the rest of my team out to do their own thing while I explain the current situation to Lake.-

Lake: <I don't believe it. All of Sinnoh...and Hoenn, too.>

-I nod sadly.-

Yeah. Things in this universe aren't so good.

Lake: <But...Why did Gamer and DS fail, yet you succeeded?>

-Shrugs.-

I don't know. Maybe it was because I didn't have to deal with anyone misusing legendaries. But that still doesn't explain the reason why DS failed. If I remember correctly, Hoenn was flooded because Gamer was never able to summon Rayquaza, for some reason.

-Lake sighs.-

Lake: <So...What are we going to do about all this?>

What can we do? Cyrus has already used Dialga to re-write the timeline. I'm not even sure if there's any way we can reverse it.

Lake: <But what if we found Dialga, though? If we could get rescue him from Cyrus, maybe he could put things back the way they were?>

...I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work. But...I don't think we'll be able to do it by ourselves. We're strong, Lake, but I don't think we're powerful enough to beat a legend.

Lake: <What if we found everyone else, though? They could help us!>

I don't think they would remember us, Lake. I didn't remember you until you jogged my memory.

Lake: <Well, we'll just have to jog their memories too! If it worked for you, I don't see how it wouldn't work for them, either!>

-I pause for a few moments to consider this.-

...Fine. We're going to do it, Lake. We're going to get everyone back together. Then we'll save Dialga and make everything right. Okay?

Lake: -Nods.- <Okay! Now...Who do we go after first?>

Um...Oh! Doesn't Silent live in Goldenrod City?

Lake: <I think I remember him saying that he did at one point. I'm not sure exactly, though.>

I guess there's no harm in taking a look, is there? Besides, I was heading in that direction anyway.

Lake: <Yeah. About that, apparently you're going to do something in Ecruteak? What's that about?>

Oh, that. Well, I have a meeting there. But I don't need to be there until Monday, anyway. So there's no real rush.

Lake: <Hmm. Right.>

-is almost at Goldenrod, and is taking a break in the shade just inside the woods lining the road-

Anyway, I need to get back to patrol. -The Every leaves-

- The Pokémon working on the tunnel project have decided to take a break from their work, sending Emolga out to fetch them some drinks that they had taken from the vending machines in the amusement park -

- However, as Emolga exits the tunnel, she spots Chase hopping over in her direction -

Emolga: <Oh! Hi, Unfeazent!>

Chase: <Hello there. How is the construction going?>

Emolga: <Oh, we're doing fine. We're all working really hard! Thanks for stopping by, see you later!>

Chase: <... Oh, really? Well, if you are working so hard, then why can I not hear anything?>

Emolga: <W-what? Don't be silly!> (shouting into the tunnel) <There is a lot of construction going on in there!>

- There is a short pause, followed by the sound of several Pokémon trying to imitate the sounds of various power tools. If one listens closely, one can hear one Pokémon just saying "Drill, drill!" at one point -

Chase: (looks skeptical)

Emolga: <So... Yeah. A lot of construction going on in there.>

Chase: <... Get back to work.>

Emolga: <Yes, sir.>

-Sunny is leading a few of the younger resistance members on a practice patrol through Nimbasa City when he spies a large flock of Murkrow and Vullaby coming in from the west-

Sunny: <What's going on? The air patrols aren't usually that large...>

-the group arrives at Goldenrod. Helen passes out maps to Hermes and Ashes, then releases Katan-

This could take a little while, so why don't you go hang out at the bug park thing and find a Pinsir or something to spar with?

Katan: <Sure, sounds fun.>

We'll meet you there, it's on the way home anyway.

-he nods and starts walking down the street. Helen checks the addresses on her master list and glances at Epona-

- Chatot is still searching for Zoroark, when she spots the large flock of bird Pokémon flying towards the city -

- Chatot quickly hides herself in some bushes -

Chatot: Oh no... The rulers must've found out what happened, and now I'm going to be punished!

-Lands in front of a disused warehouse in an industrial sector of Celadon with Tagg-

<Shaun: "... Well... The building where we met them is right over there... And I saw Sonny coming from this building...">

<Leana: "Ugh... I never thought that I'd be coming here again...">

<Vlad: "We all will! You may be new for us, but you're still Tracer's Pokemon too!">

-Lets Vesta, Pascal, and Aloysius out of their Pokeballs-

Sunny: <Oh no...Everyone hide! Now!>

-Sunny and the Pokémon following him duck behind a corner-

-a Honchkrow flies down to Mezzo's level-

Have the air patrols found anything yet?

Nevermore: <Not yet, commander.>

Keep searching. We don't rest until we've found out what happened here.

Nevermore: <Understood.>

-Nevermore flies back up-

-Mezzo and Felis begin walking toward the Nimbasa Gym-

- Aurora frantically knocks on the door-

Aurora:<Yamasks! I need to speak with Unfezant or Krookodile! It's an emergency!>
