Ho-oh: Doesn't look like it.

Well, we're up early. I'm sure if we wait here, everyone else will show up eventually.

Lake: <That's how it works usually.>

Ho-oh: I see. Oh?

-Ho-oh flaps off my shoulder and hops over to a nearby television.

Ho-oh: Would anyone mind if I spent a bit of time watching some of this...Television of yours?

I don't mind.

Lake: <Same here. Just be careful what you watch.>

Ho-oh: Oh, of course, Lake. -Turns to watch.- Hmm, My Little Blitzle? This seems rather charming. Coo.

- Finishes getting myself ready, and decides to head down to the lobby -

Ho-oh: Oh goodness. Still, it's a relief that nobody was hurt. -Turns to us.- It's a shame that all Feraligatr aren't as nice as...Luke? Lake? What's the matter?

Lake: <Well...>

We sort of met that Gator before...

Lake: <Yeah...>

Ho-oh: Oh? When was that?

A little while ago.

Lake: <Yeah, we met him on Route 203 near the Cubone Tribe's village.>

Ho-oh: Oh, I see...But, why was he there?

I dunno, but from what he told us, he was being transported to the Great Marsh when he got accidentally dropped in the area. No clue why, though...

Ho-oh: Hello, DS! Luke and Lake are just telling me about something that happened to them while they were visiting this Cubone tribe on Route 203 a little while ago.

- HotStuff releases herself from her pokeball -

HotStuff: <You know, I don't think we were told the full story about what happened there.>

-Walks down to the lobby and takes a seat-

Announcer: Breaking news! The helicopter transporting the Feraligator has reported that the Pokemon went missing!

Pilot: I... don't know what to say <zksh~> was definitely in there when we took off, and while we flew over the Ironworks. He must have vanished while we were over Route 203 or something.

Jordan: Those pokemon are rare in the wild, that route will be filled to the brim with people trying to catch it.

Ho-oh: Oh, well I'm not actually a Pidgey...Note to self: speaking English in your Pidgey form is not a clever idea.

Lake: <Maybe...>

Ho-oh: Oh? Do you have some idea what happened?

Well, that Cubone tribe we mentioned sort of has...Thing that makes time a bit crazy in their area.

Ho-oh: Hmm? What sort of thing?

...Dialga's Toothbrush.

Ho-oh: Wh...WHAT?! How did they obtain something like that?

Lake: <The Cubone said something about Dialga tossing it down to them a long time ago. So they took it and placed in in the caves near their village.>

And obviously it being exposed to Dialga has given it time warping properties. But that's not the important thing here. What is important is that we ran into the Feraligatr, and that he mentioned something about him falling out of the helicopter that was transporting him for some reason.

We weren't sure why at the time, but now that we know that the Cubone have that toothbrush...Maybe the weird time in that area displaced him somehow.

Ho-oh: Oh my...Coo.

-In the hotel room-

"(*yawns*) Good morning, every-"

-Notices that everyone in the room is awake-

"... What's going on?"

-Distraught-

<Nadia: "T-Toothless! He's gone!">

<Toothless: "But, Nadia! I'm right here! ... Somewhere... I don't really have much to describe my surroundings with...">

Announcer: A further update on the Feraligator situation, and perhaps a baffling conclusion: the Pastoria Marsh Ranger team reports that a Feraligator matching the description of the missing one was airlifted to the Marsh this morning... by a Braviary.

Ranger: Yeah, a Braviary flew in with the 'gator; we figured we just weren't told it was being flown by a Pokemon. Braviary aren't native to Sinnoh, obviously.

Interviewer: So, are you saying it was a trained bird? Any clue where it may have come from?

Ranger: -shakes head- No, we didn't see it after it left, and didn't try to follow it at the time.

-Hears the broadcast-

Oh yeah, that's right.

Looks like the time stuff affected Unite, too. That explains how he was able to get there and back so fast.

Lake: <Thank goodness they didn't go after him. That could have been awkward.>

Still, I'm glad that Gator got there safe.

Oh, uh... I was at Spear Pillar for some reason, and I noticed this light. As I went to investigate, I discovered it was coming from the Lustrous Orb. But just as I reached out to touch the orb, I woke up.

... Yeah, not really sure that was all about.

-Some time and a trashed room later-

<Vlad: "... Would there be anywhere else where it could possibly be?">

<Nadia: "N-No... This isn't happening...">

<Shaun: "... I suppose we could try to retrace our steps yesterday...">

<Nadia: "I-I'm dreaming... Th-This is all a bad dream...">

<Milo: "Honestly, can't she ever just let someone have a nice day?">
