-Pepper blushes at the sight of the Meganium.-

Wulfric: <There's Lucario...I wonder how he's getting on?>

Woolly: <Hey, a Torterra!>

-Woolly pets Torterra on the head.-

Woolly: <Hello! I like that tree on your shell! I think it's really cool!>

I would've figured that you would've gone with her Unovan team Wolf.

Cynthia? Ouch.

-Torterra swings his head to stare at Woolly, not saying anything-

Ehehe...Don't be intimidated, Woolly, he's kinda relaxed. Until he gets in a fight...geezum...

-Solly walks over to Pepper, smiling- Solly: <Hello, Pepper. Nice to see you again.>

-Lucario spots Wulfric and walks over to him, giving a greeting nod to Flare.- Lucario: <How have you been, Wulfric?>

Cynthia, huh? Well, I've already defeated her before. Should be interesting to see how Slouch does against her.

HotStuff: (bursts out of her pokeball) <Well, if that is the case, then he better win! Because if he loses to her after he managed to defeat you, then...>

- Glances down at HotStuff for a moment -

... Oh, so I guess Crush isn't the only one of my Pokémon that didn't take losing too well.

HotStuff: <... Sorry, I just...> (sighs)

Wow, seriously? I wasn't expecting that.

I decided she would use her Platinum team ages ago when I noticed that she was in DS' branch of the bracket. I didn't think I should change the plan just because someone else is going to be battling her.

-Pats HotStuff's shoulder.-

-Ren climbs down my arm and drapes herself across the Infernape's shoulders.-

Ren: <It's okay Miss HotStuff. Don't be sad.>

Woolly: <Right, I'll remember that.>

Unite: <So will I.>

-Woolly cautiously pets Torterra on the head.-

Pepper: -Blushes.- <It's nice to see you too, Solly. Have you been taking good care of your trainer?>

Flare: -Nods back.-

Wulfric: <Well...Okay I guess. Although...Woolly broke up with me. That really upset me...>

-Torterra stares at Woolly for a bit longer, then smiles and a small vine comes out of the ground, patting the Ampharos on the head-

Solly: <Yeah, he's been fine. It's nice to be with him again after such a long time away.>

Lucario: -Sighs- <I'm sorry to hear that. What happened?

HotStuff: <... Thanks, guys.> (looks up at me) <Hey... How is Crush holding up?>

- Decides to send out Crush -

Crush: (looks around) <HotStuff? You... You're not mad at me for failing to win the match for DS, are you?>

HotStuff: <Nah, I'm cool.>

Crush: <...>

Come on, Crush. It's okay. Besides, it isn't your fault that we lost the battle. If anything, it was my own fault.

Crush: (makes some sort of whimpering noise, laying down on the floor in a similar manner to a puppy being scolded by its owner)

Aww... Don't be so hard on yourself, Crush. You put up a very good fight, I'm proud of you.

HotStuff: (pets Crush on the head) <Yeah, from what I heard, you did do pretty well.>

Crush: <...>

-sends out Felis-

So, are you ready to behave this time? Because if you repeat what happened yesterday I am so going to stuff you back in that ball.

Felis: -sigh- <Fine. We'll do things your way.>

Or maybe I should have let that Salamence gnaw your face off. Would have taught you a lesson, at any rate. Let's go see what the others are doing.

-walks over to the common room-

Woolly: -Blushes- <Aww...You're really sweet!>

Unite: <...You're very quiet, aren't you?>

Pepper: <Of course, you haven't been on his team for a while, have you? I don't really like not being on the team. I always worry about Luke and the others. We tend to end up in some rather...Dangerous situations quite a lot.>

Wulfric: <Well...Um...>

Flare: <It was totally brutal. Unite was going off to talk to Dialga about something or another, so he told Woolly about it, and then when he came back afterwards, they'd fallen in love with each other. So Woolly pretty much dumped him for Unite. Which is really silly, I mean, come on! They're not even in the same Egg Group!>

Wulfric: <...Yeah. What Flare said.>

-Decides to go disappear for a moment-

Crush: <...> (sighs) <... Well, at least Quetzal didn't see me lose out there...>

HotStuff: (continues petting Crush) <Don't worry about it, buddy. There will be other battles.>

I walk near the stadium.

— I hope this time we can actually get to watch a battle, you know?

Maekrite — <I'd rather go meet the others. You know, do some chit chat>

— Which reminds me... — lean to Maekrite and talk in a lower voice — would you pay attention and see if anyone talks about Tagg?

Maekrite — <Dr. Tagg...?> — flicks ears — <What for?>

— Well, don't tell anyone but it is his birthday soon, and he wants nothing special... I kinda want to thank him for the whole armband thing.

Maekrite remains silent for a moment, then nods.

Maekrite — <I'll let you know if it looks like somemon is planning something...>

— Now... let's go to that TM stand Every has. I'd like to buy some things, and deliver Luke's laptop.

Her team is the same as Red's, but they're obviously not as strong as his team.

Hmm... I think another battle may be about to start. Even though we're no longer in the tournament, we can at least cheer for our friends.

I guess you'll come with us as well if we head over to the stadium?

You probably wouldn't want to try the bracelet right now, huh. I though maybe if you tried it one after your battle, you could evolve into an Espeon.

-Torterra smiles again as Haunter floats over to Woolly, hugging her and laying on top of her head-

Lucario: <Oh dear...That's rough. Maybe it just means Woolly wasn't right for you?>

Solly: <Well, we get into plenty of dangerous situations too...though considering Librarian's profession that's a given.>

Leaf: Of course I'm ready! -sends out Snorlax- Let's do this!
