Fortis: Oh my gosh Piano Piano Piano look! -holds up Astral-

-a few cats look at it, then return their attention to the bird-

Mercury: <Uh, boss, I don't like this place. They keep looking at me.>

-the Murkrow on Fortis' shoulder is currently being stared at by five Espurrs and a Persian-

Neuron: <I found you!>

Mezzo: Fortis? How did you get here?

Fortis: I sent Neuron out to look but I should have guessed since you love kitties! But anyway miss Scarlette showed up and I got kidnapped but Pianis rescued me and then we got Scarlette back and Lily met her and she was happy but then we were doing research and this giant monster showed up! And then Lily fought it off by doing a cool pose and punching it a lot but it shot me but Astral pushed me out of the way and she got hit and turned into an egg!

-Mezzo tilts her head-

-Felis reluctantly releases the Natu, who ports onto Fortis' other shoulder-

-all eyes in the café are now focused on both birds-

Mercury: <Really, boss, we need to get out of here.>

Fortis: Oh! And Ever misses you!

Mezzo: ...He does? That's sweet, but Fortis, I took a break from team stuff for a reason. I was relaxing quite well until—

-a nearby Glameow pounces at Mercury, and Mezzo blocks it with her arm-

Mezzo: Until you showed up again.

Outed, Colt mentally sighed before he met Jared's eyes. "Oh hey. Uh, should I know you?"

His eyes slowly drifted to the Dark-type, still trying to confirm her identity.

Jared: Well, you're J-Team, right?

Colt had a guess, but didn't say anything, instead kneeling down to place a hand on the Zorua's head to pet her, or at least reaching to her head and letting her close the gap if she so desired.

"Yeah, I'm part of J-Team," Colt allowed. "The J-Team is a ragtag bunch of trainers who are good friends, have connections to legends, thwart any villainous characters and travel the world, not necessarily in that order."

-Brie enters the restaurant after Fortis, having been lured by a place that seems like it wouldn't welcome birds-

-she's followed by Ever, who seems to have in fact managed to inchworm across, if not all of Kalos, most of Lumiose-

-Ever is promptly tackled by several cats, as scooting along on the ground tends to make one look like a snake-

Brie: ...So, uh, this place seems nice.

Skyfire: -swishing her tail uncomfortably, a pair of Skitty watching it in fascination- <I'm not sure I agree...>

Skitty #1: <The warmth.>

Skitty #2: <The light.>

Both Skitty: <You will surrender it to us. o_o>

Skyfire: <Meep.>

-Brie waves to Mezzo. Ever attempts to do the same, but this is somewhat difficult from under a pile of cats-

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

-Mezzo waves back-

Mezzo: Uh, are you okay?

Felis: <He's doing what he does best.>

-the number of Espurr staring at Mercury has now doubled-

-a few of them are making little chirping noises with their mouths-

Mercury: <I really don't want to get eaten, boss.>

- Zacharias steps out of the store, sighing. It's the sixth one and he still hasn't found the wines that his boss requested. He starts walking down the alley with Nieve (her Sneasel) on his shoulder when suddenly, she perks her head up and sniffs the air-

Nieve: <I SMELL C U T E N E S S>

-Nieve jumps off Zacharias shoulder and starts running towards three dudes and a small vulpixlike black pokemon-

Zacharias: H-hey! Nieve! Wait up! T-the hell?

-Zacharias jogs towards them, but Nieve is already talking to the Zorua-

Nieve: <HEY, KID! You are SO CUTE! Whats your name? Lemme adopt ya!>

Zacharias: (muttering) For the love of God, not again... (Looks at the 3 guys) Umm... Hey! Sorry about her, she's got a soft spot for cute, small 'mons... and... well, sorry, really.

Ever: -petting an Actual Cat that seems to just...be there- How've you been? Things have been kind of hectic on my end.

-Mezzo picks up Ever and hugs him, disregarding any cats on his person-

-the cats, for their part, disregard Mezzo's intrusion and either cling to Ever or pace around him-

Mezzo: I'm sorry. If I knew you were that bad, I would have said something.

-Mercury takes the opportunity to fly from Fortis' shoulder to Skyfire's wing-

-a Purrloin pounces at him, but misses-

Mezzo: Honestly I've been kind of down myself... that's why I took a break from the whole team business to relax. And this place is great for relaxing.

Mezzo: Uh, when there aren't birds around riling everyone up, that is.

Colt continued petting Bathory, eventually scratching her behind the ears.

Something burst in Colt's pocket, and a Weavile landed, rolling a Razor Claw over her claws.

<Ya remember how you put it?> She asked.

Colt silently counted down from three. On one, they spoke.

"<You just kinda stick around until you're unofficially in, and once you're unofficially in, you're officially in,>" they chimed.

And then a Sneasel turned up and Bathory offered a signature in blood. Colt paused in minor discomfort but didn't remove his hand. "It's natural to be a sucker for cute things."

<Guilty as charged!> Rei offered, pointing at her trainer.

Nieve: <Hur hur, I think you'n I will get along greatly, kid! But blood? Now where would you get that, huh?>

Zacharias: Y-yeah, she is... Hey, Nieve, relax, will you?! Hum, I'm Zacharias, by the way.

-Zacharias offers a handshake-

A turquoise streak flies over Julius' head as a woman with black hair in a peaked cap, a dark blue coat, a black, knee-length skirt, blue-grey camo leggings and combat boots backflips off a Salamence and lands about a half-dozen feet away from him.

She takes her aviator goggles off, setting them over her hat as she fumbles glasses on to replace them.

Her Salamence lands behind her.

Yep, it's Siobhan: "... Hi! You look like J-team!"

-Nieve turns to the Salamence and their Trainer-

Nieve: <THE HELL YOU THINK YER DOING, PUNKS? WILL I HAVE TO TEACH YOU SOME MANNERS, YOU OVERSIZED REPTILE?>

-Zacharias gets up wobbly and smiles to no one in particular-

Zacharias: I'm fine, im fine... Back down, girl.

Upon Siobhan entering, Rei's Razor Claw fell out of her hand, and Colt fell down to the ground, still petting Bathory.

"Yeah, I'm J-Team. Hello there," Colt said as he picked himself up. "Could I ask your name?"

-Camilla nudges the unconcious Ditto with a foot.-

Camilla: <You usually only go down that easily when->

Ever: Hey, don't worry about it. It's hardly your fault. Besides, we're in Kalos now, which hopefully means some time to relax.

-he gently nudges Mezzo's shoulder with his head-

It was probably a good call on your part to take a break, honestly. This place seems nice.

Gogmazios sideyes the Sneasel, before turning and staring intently at Bathory.

She turns to Colton, offering a hand. "Siobhan Mitsurugi!"

-Nieve is enraged at Gogmazios for ignoring her but before she can say or do anything Zacharias picks her up from the neck and she gets limp-

Zacharias: Lucius, was it? Ehm, I don't think you are, but just in case you are from around here, wouldn't you or your friends happen to know some good brewery or liquor store around here?

Julius: Er, hello Shioban. I'm Julius.

-to Zacharaias- Again it's Juilius. The name Lucius sounds oddly punchable. And a brewery? Does that mean they have mead here?

Jared: I think he means beer.

Bathory: <I'll keep that in mind, angry Sneasel!>

With a mixture of hesitation and enthusiasm, Colt grabs Siobhan's hand and shakes it once rigorously.

"Colton Rever, how do ya do. She's Rei," he said, pointing to the Weavile who had just reclaimed her Razor Claw. "and that's Bathory. She's not mine," he clarified as he gestured to the fox.

"And if you guys want to get some alcohol, I won't stop you," he added as he drew a can of Lemonade and chugged the rest of it. Rei grabbed it and impaled it with her claws.
