I'm already kinda paranoid, so it doesn't change much. And I can only do it here when I'm meditating, I kinda prefer the roof for that because the interior's kinda eerie. Even if it gets cold as fuck up there in the winter.

-Oddly, Jamie's shadow changes into a horse with a winged figure on its back...-

-Shaun blanches as a pale white Scyther astride a similarly-colored Rapidash rams into Beowulf.-

Death: <Getting started without me, brother? How...dissappointing.>

War: <Where are the others?>

Death: <Coming, War...but we do not need them.>

Leavanny(?): <Oh?>

-A Leavanny who looks like a dead plant - not to mention the flames - astride a black Rapidash cocks her head at her brothers.-

-Shaun eyes his phone as he types quickly.-

-Shaun drops his phone as acid eats away at its screen.-

Shaun: "..."

-He turns around slowly to come face-to-face with a sickly, diseased-looking Rapidash with a Garbodor on their back.-

Shaun: "May Palkia watch over us."

-He tosses Tsuboi's ball at Jamie.-

Shaun: "Run!"

-Jamie and Tsuboi hesitate before running down the alley as Beowulf covers them.-

Death: <We'll get them soon enough...>

-Shaun dons a gray bandito scarf as he backs towards Beowulf.-

Dartrix!Shaun: <It's two versus eight...>

Beowulf: <Then it is a fair fight.>

Channah: Mm, okay. Well thanks for bringing me here. Auric business is mostly new to me, so this was uh. Interesting. Is there anything else to see in here?

-Turns in place before starting to walk deeper inside-

 A couple minutes later, the bottom 

-Stepping forward into a large underground cavern, the signs of some sort of battle still mostly present-

Look over the edge and you can see the true form of this Nexus firsthand.

-Which is a raw river of Aura flowing past, giving the area a light blue glow-

Ever: —that's really sweet. You think you'll go out again?

Solace: <It was a pleasant experience. I suppose I'll see how she feels about it.>

Ever: Cute.

-he offers his hand to Solace for pets. She pauses, before nuzzling his hand-

Solace: <Pardon?>

Ever: Uh, we need to get back to the apartment. Something's going on.

Solace: <Quickest way's through this alley.>

-Ever is here now-

Guillaume: Oh, hey, you just missed PEFE!Every and Brie.

Ever: ...Huh. Where'd they go?

Guillaume: I dunno. Said something about horsemons of the apocalypse, and PEFE!Every teleported out.

Ever: First of all, can I say that I really appreciate that at least one person is on board with my nickname? And second of all whomst?

Solace: <I'm inclined to echo this.>

PEFE!Every: Hello! Did someone say something about apocalypses?

Brie: And, um, I'm the reinforcements. In case that wasn't clear.

-she sends out Ramphyros-

Pippy: -pointing enthusiastically- <That's unusual!>

-they examine the strangeness, as Pollen flits around Megan-

Tripod: -jail cell door slamming noise-

Human!Thespi: Um...I dunno if this is the best plot thread to go down. Then again, if this is a redemption arc for you, you'll work hard to earn his trust after what you did, and we'll grow to trust you, and in the end you'll have bonded with us and will pick us over the villain instead of revealing you were going to betray us all along? I hope.

-they all recover pretty quickly from the shock, Logan and Addie with their experience-

-Zippy's just seen a lot-

-zap, zap, zap-

-the mons are quiet as Logan gathers their thoughts-

Logan: ...this is a Psychic Gem, which is normally just raw, crystallized Psychic energy that can be spent in a rush to power up anything that uses it. These are a bit different, though.

-they pull another red Gem out of a pocket, and examine it, though it's already familiar to them-

We got these from someone claiming to read the future, or at least acting on behalf of someone who does. As for what they do...

She said she adjusted these to carry her power, to "make their influence available to us". When we're at a loss for what to do, we're supposed to listen to the gem for guidance, and consider whatever advice may come. The few times I've tried it, I've either gotten a little pulse, like showing that they're there, and nothing, or...a nudge, in some direction or other.

Based on what I've seen, I think they let the mon who made the Gem reach out what's around it, and use her Future Sight to map the possibilities, then nudge what or whoever's nearby to make a certain result more likely. So far, it's led me to peoplemons who really needed help...

Channah: -cautiously peers over, frowning slightly- So that's Aura... Fancy. Hale's getting excited about this. Heh. -steps back- Lemme guess, you had a battle here.

We had to go prevent this Zygarde from another universe from trying to remake this one in their image after this several month long sidequest almost two years ago. Sometimes I wonder if it might've been an early sign of the sky breakage...

I would rather not fight them and their "Knights of Order" again if I can help it.

Channah: An evil Zygarde, huh. Disappointing; for some reason I always thought it'd be chill. -watches the river some more, the blue glow reflecting off her eyes- ...Hey, did you use Auric attacks in uh, my mindscape? This vibe feels kinda familiar.

-To Channah-

Well, I've only met our universe's Zygarde once and they seemed pretty chill. And yeah, things got slightly violent.

Channah: Okay, cool. I don't care, just wondered. Hm. What happens if you reach into that? -points at the river-

-The Cyborg Rabbid is there, looking at the group nervously-

-There is also a strange cloud nearby-

Svin: <That's good to hear!>

Mul: <Do you have any idea what's going on?>

-Umbra and co. are chilling in the pallace-

Laura: -At Delta- "Hm, hoping to figure out how to turn into a Mightyena yourself?"

-She hasn't moved-

-And neither does Maurice as Mazinger disappears-

Maurice: <Cheating ghosts...>

-He uses Foresight while waiting for the attack to come, it doesn't help him dodge the blow-

<Rgh- Heads up!>

-It does, however, help his attempt to grab the Golurk's limb for a Seismic Toss, and he aims the throw toward the door, and possibly Delta-

Shinobi: <Workin' on it!>

-At Nier, as he conjures a shadowy blade- <Guess we found him>

-He dashes toward the nearest couple of large Shades to Night Slash them in passing-

-Down just floofs her feathers as she resists the urge to comment on the 'no talking to strangers' rule-

-"Homer is walking around with his mons, checking out the area."-

Homer, to himself: Why am I back in Johto? I remember getting on the plane from alola... wait, why would I ride a plane, I have Zags?

-"As Homer is questioning himself, the aforementioned Kadabra is currently studying what appears to be the last payphone in existents."-

Mor: <I don't know, is it, is it friendly?>

-"Mokuba starts hitting the payphone"-

Mokuba, happy: <Bow to your ruler!> -childishly laughs as he hits the phone-

Mor, worried: <Mokuba, don't, you'll make it mad.>

-"Suddenly, Mokuba knocks the phone off the ringer causing the hold noise to sound out. The three mons jump back."-

Mor: <AHH, I'm sorry, please don't eat us>

Mokuba: <It challenges us to combat!>

-"Zagreus then fires a shadow ball at the payphone, causing it to explode."-

-"Anubis and Melinoe watch on."-

Melly: <...should we have stopped them?>

Anubis, not to concerned: <Probably, but it's been awhile sense we've been home, so lets let them have some fu-> -Anubis shivers-

Melly: <You alright?>

Anubis: <Yeah, it's just... I just felt something. Something I haven't felt in a long time. It was like somebody was watching me. Like... oh no.> -eyes go wide-

-"With that, a female eevee slowly creeps out from right behind Anubis, a large grin on her face."-

-"Homer finally notices the ruckus and turns towards his mons."-

-"Homer turns and meats eyes with a middle aged man, with messy brown hair smiling at him"-

Homer: Bill?

-"Bill lifts his hand up in a wave."-

At Mazinger being tossed, Delta ducks under and then says, "Use fly."

Mazinger stops and begins to float, rocket boosters firing, <I AM A SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT!>

Delta turns to Laura and gives it some thought, tilting his head as his helmet cannot express anything, he then calmly says, "No."

Delta quickdraws the Petrifier and fires it right at Gogie, "Just finishing a job."

"Bonnie, go for something more powerful."

Bonnie takes the dragon rush and grunts, <Sure thing boss.>

She looks right at Hazard, and fires a Hydropump.

Mandrake would ask if it's Weiss but he is too busy Petal Dancing.

Iago: <Well, whatever, I just wish I'd be out of this cage.>

Aladdin: <Well, now we just need to hope Jasmine will understand.>

???: <Understand what?>

With that voice, there is a Mienshao that has appeared near the group.

Hazard gets struck by the Hydro Pump and seems like he's not doing too well.

He sees Delta fire the beam and Gogie get hit, turning into a bronze-ish color and freezing in place.

Hazard: <Gogie!>

He then tries to ignore Bonnie, tries to grab the petrified Mightyena and fly through out to the back where he can get away without breaking holes through the roof.

The Armaldo urned the crystal in his claws a bit, eyeing it from every side

Alyesha: "I feel like this would be a story that Semyon would love to hear~ Only a reason more for me to invite you to my stand~"

She pointed away from them

Lily: So hold on. You're telling me that you brought me...

-she points at Lily(?), who waves-

Lily: From this other universe with no sun over to ours... why exactly? And why didn't you tell me?

Noelle: We did tell you! Just not, uh, you you.

Fortis: She's gonna help us save everyone! Astral's gonna grow up and become a new sun for them!

Astral: <Pew!>

Lily: Riiiiight. So uh, what am I supposed to do about this other me walking around?

Noelle: Smooch her.

Lily: And how are we supposed to tell the difference between each other?

Lily(?): Don't worry, I've got that covered.

-Lily(?) pulls out a pair of sunglasses and slaps them on-

Lily(?): Boom.

Lily: Uh.

Noelle: Yeah, that should work.

Forte: Honestly, I'm glad to get away from those two. Who knows what else they'll wreck.

Shadow: <You and me both.>

Celeste: <Aw, they were nice though.>

Shadow: <Maybe by your standards, but I just found them horribly distracting.>

-Forte knocks on a particular house's door, and a middle-aged man responds-

'Man: Hello?

Forte: Hi. Is this the house of Sakura, the Sylveon User?

Man: Yes, or at least it used to be.

Forte: Used to be? Well, Kagetora, the Eevee guy, sent me and I'd like to know where she is so—

Man: She's gone.

Forte: Oh, great. Well do you know where she could be?

Man: I mean she's gone. She passed away about a year ago.

Forte: Oh... oh.

-A few of the larger shades are cut down after having their shields blown back by the petals.-

-Sylph manages to slap a few more aside with a Shadow Ball hand-

-As Shinobi approaches, he finds, against the back wall, something...making the whole thing shimmer. And in the center of it all, encased in an orb of magic, is a rather cross looking book -

??:Yes, you there! Woould you be so kind as to smash this damndable thing. Not too hard, mind. Scratch me and you shall know true terror!

Nier:-cutting through one of the remaining Shades-<Weiss!>

?? Grimoire Weiss:I told you once, boy, that's Grimoire Weiss!

Facade

Citizen:(Our king tells us our sacred temple has danger coming from it. The Rules prohibit us from making pilgrimage there as of late. Last one who went, say heard strange voice. Ancient, they said it was.)

"Don't worry, they're invincible," Delta mutters as he turns the Petrifier on Hazard and fires again.

Two of the Peons pull out large discs and get to moving after the Charizard.

"Zatara."

Zatara pops in, ~Yeeeeeeeeeeeees?~

"We need a exit. Prepare one."

~Oh of course!~

Hazard is hit by the Petrifier before he can round the corner and falls to the ground, still holding the petrified Gogie, free for the Peons to pick the two up.

Mandrake is now dizzy from the dancing.

Mandrake: <Oogh... you're... you're Grimoire Weiss? Are you... a he as Nier said or you... prefer something else?>
