-Soleil follows Semigloss up. A few other groups come up as well — a trio of Rufflet, a Pidgeotto and a Tranquill, a Natu and a Hoothoot, and so on. Kattraea approaches Soleil and Semigloss, and smiles at them — especially the latter.-

Kattraea: <Now, you're a familiar face. It's a pleasure to see you again, young one. Would you like to introduce yourself and your friend here?>

Lewis: -wakes up on a bed- ...Mgh? Wha- -looks around in vague confusion- Where'm... I? Wha' happened... -gets up and begins looking around, stumbling every so often-

-Montanari and Dolabella are standing in front of a certain silent Pupitar-

Montanari: -softly- <Hello, Kandace. Do you remember me? My old name was Yukito, I belonged to your trainer's older brother.>

Dolabella: <Yukito? Seriously?>

Montanari: -to Dolabella- <A young Channah's favorite anime character.>

Dolabella: <Holy shit, Herself was a weeb?>

Montanari: <I believe you are, if your because.moe browsing habits are anything to go by.>

Dolabella: <...The amount of shit you know about us all isn't creepy, it's the fact that you remember it all. And yeah, I just can't picture her liking any of that.>

Pupitar: <...>

Montanari: <A nod yes or no is fine, verbalization isn't necessary.>

Pupitar: <...>

Dolabella: -loosely tosses a few Bullet Seeds at her-

Pupitar: <...>

Dolabella: <Got it, she's retarded.>

Montanari: -staring at her- <No... No. She was always very quiet, but not like this. Curious.>

Pupitar: -staaaares-

Dolabella: -pitches a few more Bullet Seeds-

Montanari: <Please stop.>

-Semigloss's eyes get very round and wide at being recognized-

-she looks around at the assembled birds, a little bit in awe of some of the evolved ones-

Semigloss: <Um...I'm Semigloss. This is my friend, Soleil.>

Soleil: <Glossie you've gotta speak up a bit! Ahem, yeah! I'm Soleil, she's Semigloss. I actually just met her when we signed up!>

Kattraea: <Wonderful! It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Soleil, and I look forward to seeing your growth as mons as well as heroes.>

-She continues on to the other groups, who likewise introduce themselves. Soleil shuffles in place anxiously.-

Semigloss: <Okay! I'll try!>

-she likewise shuffles around, though she tries to pay attention for any Plot-Important Bird Names-

-Mezzo idly looks at her phone after a couple dozen beeps-

-and then stares at it-

Mezzo: She has a what?

-After Soleil and Semigloss, the Natu and Hoothoot introduce themselves. They never really decided on names for themselves, but now that the subject has come up, they both decide to try to think of names to set them apart from the crowd.-

-Next, the Pidgeotto, who introduces herself as Skittles, and her Tranquill partner, who calls himself Starburst. Soleil can't place why she really wants some candy all of a sudden.-

-The names of the Rufflet brothers kinda get muffled, but what Semigloss can hear is that they're calling their team name "The Tuff Ruffs". Kattraea chuckles softly.-

Kattraea: <I'm glad to hear you've already chosen a team name! It is Bronze Bird tradition to come up with names for their squads. When I was in training, me and my partners called ourselves the Birds' Decisions Adventure Squad — a play on an old team I used to be a part of, see. And although we've moved on from that, it still holds a special place in my heart.>

-She glances back at the other groups-

Kattraea: <Of course, I'm not going to demand group names so suddenly, gods no! We're not even going to officially assign names until after your first training mission, and even then, we can provide a temporary name that you can change whenever you decide on one that feels right.>

Soleil: <Oh thank goodness I couldn't possibly come up with something that quickly>

Kainé:<You all heard my name...>

<At least the sand isn't bothing me as much as it used to...hmph.>

Nierverse-Lost Shrine Bridge

-As Shinobi gets closer, it becomes clear the rocks are being hefted and thrown at something via Psychic.-

-Said somethings being small, yellow and black creatures, not quite outlines, not quite scribbles. But small, humanoid, and angry looking-

-More appear on the bridge, in a swirl of yellow and black lines, raising their scribble clubs menicingly-

-Nier snarls-

Nier:<Shades!>

-If Shinobi squints, it's kinda clear the other figure...is a Mismagius!-

-Semigloss, who grew up with trained mons, knows why she wants candy-

Semigloss: <Hm...I like naming things. This will be fun!>

-Soleil nods cheerfully, and Kattraea comes back around.-

Kattraea: <Now, since you all are already set on groups, please make your way to the next room. There, you'll get the details of your first mission.>

Soleil: <Right yes!>

-She gestures for Semigloss to come, and heads toward the next room-

Chum: <Well, guess we've got simlar goals.>

The Decidueye lowers his gun.

Mandrake: <Shades? What are these shades of which you speak?>

Forte: So I sent a message to the rest of the team and they, uh, the Pokeball Explosion Federation... no, that's not it. Pokemon Extradimensional Filesystem Endeavor... wait, no. Pokedex Extension Flare... argh, forget it! You know the ones!

Fortis: Uh huh.

Forte: And they said that Astral was a... uh, its species name is Cosmog and it's a "star child" and it evolves into... a legendary? Like those sun and moon gods from Alola, one of those.

Fortis: Oh my gosh!

He leaps over and tries to Giga Drain one.

-He claps his hands together and tries to grab one (or more) with a Grass Knot to make it easier for Sylph or Nier to land a blow-

-It's not a pleasant experience-

-Sylph finishes off the group with the last boulder blocking the entrance-

Nier:<Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes, Ms. Sylph. How did->

Sylph:<One moment.>

-Sylph floats back-

-Then ramglomps into Shinobi-
