The attacks disabled the Giant and left it still, it couldn't move, in fact its eyes seemed to dilate its apertures as it considered what to do next.

It didn't know what to do next so it shrieked and attempted to summon Guardians. None came.

It was alone. Jester was waiting for them and wanted to see them win this fight.

Silas adjusted the bracers as Hacks punched the air a bit, testing his moves, "Ready?" ~Ready.~

Silas gripped the bracer and Hacks felt the Lucarionite react, the power it held kicked in and Hacks was cocooned in a bubble of energy.

It burned, the feeling of your body changing so radically was a different sensation, the feeling of power that welled up inside was different. Hacks liked it, he wanted to try this ever since it was discovered.

The bubble burst and there stood Hacks, mega evolved, he let out a roar and grinned, the power was amazing, it dared him to let loose with it but Hacks knew better, this was something he was more than ready for.

"Okay that's good looking."

~Oh its fantastic! I feel so strong! So powerful!~

"Well... experiment a bit."

Hacks grinned and began to dart around the forest leaping about, the energy was amazing and he wanted to experience every second of it.

Petalburg

-Regina looks back at Megan, shrugs and shakes her head-

-She just doesn't know either-

Jacob: -Holding his arms towards the sky- "THESPI!!!"

-And suddenly he's calm- "Wow it's nice to meet newer members. Sorry you all had to be introduced to me in such a traumatic way. I promise, I'm better now."

-He folds his arms and reclines back a little on his heels- "It's also nice to meet fellow theatric people. Life is so much more fun this way. Okay so what's your all's thing? Everyone on the team has a thing. Dune is the down-to-earth, worldly, sorta grounded straight-man to everyone's shenanigans, Kai is basically "What is gender?" personified with a talent for battling, Ever is... Ever is. Ever is. Ghosts. But yeah no how'd you all get wrapped up in this mess?"

-Sylva laughs and splashes Vee with some bubbles-

Sylva: <Vee? Vee. Veeee! Veeveeveeveevee. Vee! That's a fun name to say!!>

Megan: -shrugs back at Regina before addressing everyone- Hello! I'm Megan! Gym Trainer of Pastoria. ^_^;

...I suppose our thing is water! Generally having...many water techniques. And other techniques, really. Combination techniques and move variations, mostly.

-she hasn't done it since she was a kid, and it feels kinda awkward to her but she feels better for doing it-

Recently we were mentored by an astronaut named Silas, as well as Ever!

Megan: We met the J-Team when we got Teleported to Unova by that Staryu you just saw, and then met a bunch of the J-Team at once! We got invited to a Christmas party, and then after that we started fighting stuff!

-Vee giggles at the bubbles, absorbing some of them-

Vee: <Aaaaaaaaa I'm glad you like it!>

-she twirls, mist spinning off of the copy Vaporeon and swirling with sparkling rainbow colors-

<Heeheeheehee~! Sylvaaaaaa~!>

Megan: ...I've never seen her quite this...giddy. It's kinda sweet? Also, that Phione is adorable, oh my gosh...

Jacob: -He nods- "... I still need to do the Sinnoh League. And intro via teleporting! Nice. Water types are pretty cool. Don't know Silas. I prefer to read about space rather than go there but I can't judge someone on their profession. And wait Ever gave you advice?"

-He kinda flails a little- "You'll probably be fine. Ever seems like a half decent trainer, and even if the head on his shoulders runs on moon logic, he's good at improvising. It seems like you've taken to the team like a fish... to... water... Ugh why do I say things."

-He scratches the back of his head and smiles- "And yeah, Sylva is a sweetheart. I've never seen another Phione, but I know her mom lives here in Hoenn. Or at least was visiting."

Sylva: <Veeeee~> -She starts darting around, blowing more and more bubbles into the air as the sun is starting to set, diffracting light across the area-

-some bubbles float to the surface of the pond-

-the water ripples-

-and a figure rises up out of it-

-a blue figure, on top of a much larger blue and green figure, all surrounded by a protective water bubble-

Ever: Iridis.

-he crosses his arms in front of his face-

-and snaps his fingers, popping the bubble in a shower of sparkles-

-the water beneath Jacob and Ever explodes upwards-

???: I have fought too hard and trained too much to be bested by someone in this arena, however - I started as the Champion of ding-dong ditching, then the Champion of prank calling, but now I'm the Champion of Alola!

Ludmilla: ... Do those first two really cou-

???: I came up from the bottom, and now I'm at the top! This is what it feels to be alive!

-He does a dramatic turn towards Ludmilla, revealing his face (and also the fact that he's not wearing a shirt under the jacket.-

Axel: DARK HERO, CHAMPION AXEL, IS ON STAGE!

-Spotlights shine down from the ceiling and pyrotechnics light up around the arena.-

-Axel then pulls out an electric guitar and plays a riff.-

-he lands on the whirlpool, sliding down it like a very literal interpretation of a water slide. However, he doesn't believe in things like safety warnings, so he sticks his feet out to catch a stream going the other direction-

-canceling his momentum, and hopping lightly to the ground. He wobbles a little, but his legs seem to be doing better-

Hacks finished his run and exercise and broke the evo, stretching and eating a lot of food, ~It saps a lot of power out of you to come down. It's a total power high, I say we abuse this maliciously!~

Silas gave Hacks a look as he ate the sandwich he had packed, "Come on."

Hacks smirked, Snakeye spoke up, <Ya got it. Use it.>

"If we need to fight any of the J-Team and we need to level the playing field? Sure."

The team had a laugh as Silas finished his lunch, "Okay... here we go."

~First steps on Mars have nothing on trying out Mega-Evolution.~

Silas pulled off his bracers and bag, he handed them to Hacks and pulled on his scarf. Lucarionite in hand as Hacks pulled on his P-H scarf, grinning as he gripped the bracers, "Ready?"

Silas nodded, his stomach twisting itself into knots, <As ready as I'll ever be.>

Hacks struck a pose and activated the Key-Ring, good sign, the bubble appeared over Silas and he felt the power rush in.

Silas dropped to his knees and found it hard to breath, the energy from the Lucarionite was burning him up, inside out. He wanted to scream, his blood felt like it was on fire and he was about to die. It ended soon and Silas let out a loud scream, the mega-evolution complete.

Hacks stared on with awe, if possible there would have been diamonds in his eyes as he looked at Silas, "HELL YEAH! IT WORKED!"

Silas could feel the infinite energy flowing through his body, he felt strong, strong enough to tear down an entire forest, he fel- WHERE WAS HIS TAIL!?

Silas inspected his body and noticed that his tail had just up and vanished, <The hell! I just got used to that thing and now its gone!>

Hacks walked over laughing, the entire team surrounded Silas, Amber even poked him a bit, <Holy shit man you are jacked!>

Tae spoke up, <How does it feel?>

<Like my blood's on fire and my head is filled with felt, I'm not certain why but I am having trouble just standing here right now.>

"That's just your body telling you to actually use it. You have all this power, go ahead. Run a bit, punch something."

Silas looked at Hacks and decided to follow his advice, he took a few steps, then broke into a run, running laps around everyone in their area, it felt... good. It felt great! Silas, started to laugh.

Silas proceeded to start leaping about, striking poses and throwing kicks and punches, he even charged a aura sphere and tossed it, it tore a chunk out of a stump nearby. Silas's laughter started to grow distant, and suddenly stopped...

His head hurt, he was having trouble thinking straight as he continued to move, what was the end goal? How could he use this? Then the thoughts started to become less coherent.

Hacks took notice, "Silas?"

Silas growled and stopped, he shook his head, he couldn't think straight, his thoughts were muted by the energy, he hadn't experienced anything like this before, he hadn't been a pokemon most his life. Silas roared and started to charge about, "GRAB HIM!"

The team (save Snakeye) gripped Onto Silas and tried to restrain him, they succeeded a little bit but soon he was starting to push through.

Snakeye had stepped in front of Silas and raised a arm, <Keep him still, I can strike him with a spore and sleep powder!>

<Calm down buddy, we'll get through this. Ju-> Amber began only to get decked in the face by Silas, who proceeded to rip through knocking her and Tae flat on their backs.

Silas charged right at Snakeye who attempted to use sleep powder, but with the way Silas was moving, missed. He was kicked in the chest and then trampled over as Silas darted off into the forest, growling and roaring still.

Amber sat up, <Oh when we catch him I'm burning his non-existant tail!>

Hacks attempted to dissuade her, "It's the Mega-Evo, he's not used to it, his mind isn't used to the instinct that comes with it!"

Hacks proceeded to then kick himself, "I should have seen this coming, we should have prepared."

Snakeye stood up and groaned a bit in pain, before saying, <Ain't yer fault. None of us knew. Just hope the Boss gets a clear head.>

Tae frowned, <Bishop, what do you think?>

"I wasn't programmed for any of this, I have no predictions as to what will happen to the Captain."

With Hacks so far away, the evo broke finally, Silas stumbled, the sudden drop in power threw him off, he was exhausted.

Try as he might to stay awake, he couldn't hold on forever.

He wouldn't even notice anyone coming.

Kalos Route 19

A trainer and her Pokémon, a Conkeldurr, just so happen to be walking by.

Conkeldurr: <C'mon, Jay, maybe we'll find something interesting over here!>

Jay: "Eh, maybe. We've been looking for a while, though, and still..."

They then see a certain Lucario, having fainted.

Conkeldur: <...>

Jay: "..."

"...Well, fainted or not, this guy seems strong."

"Let's just..."

She makes sure no one's looking then throws an Ultra Ball at the fainted Lucario.
