Fuzz and Braid are led out into the lobby, where they are met by a middle-aged man in a blue suit. While short in stature, with fading green hair and a simple cane, he is yet spry and leaps to hug the Blaziken.
Paul Macraul: Fuzz! Braid! Oh, thank Xerneas you're alright!
He turns to the officer and shakes his hand vigorously.
Paul: Wherever did you find them?!
Officer: They appeared a few mornings ago with ol' Growlson! He must have run across them after they escaped from whatever terrible criminals took them! It's a shame we couldn't find out who took them, but what are we supposed to do? Interview the Pokémon?
The two men share a long guffaw.
Paul: Yes, completely impossible, alas.
He straightens his jacket.
Paul: Well, I must take these boys home. Good day, officer, and I wish you luck with your collection.
