-Argentum charges with energy before rushing the monster, stunning it-

-Regina once again continues to focus, building power-

"Actually, lets see if we can judge this book by its cover. Aerial Ace!"

-Argentum flashes his claws and tears into the large muscle bug, horrendously harming it-

-Regina focuses one more time before blasting it out of the building with Stored Power, sending it hurtling out of the building and into a stone archway in the front of the manor-

Jacob: "Alright- You look... wrong, alien, but maybe..."

-He pulls out one of the Dusk-Quick balls Lucius had made for him-

-He hurls it-

The Fast-Diminishing Poni Shore - A Few Days Ago

-The Aggron stares slack-jawed at the stragglers' stubbornness, before shouting back-

<Hess: "What is wrong with you?! I'm the one with sailing experience here, so you should be getting out of my-">

-And sees a rapidly-approaching sandbar that forms a natural ramp-

<Hess: "Nevermindtakeitbacktakeit-!">

-Only for the ship to suddenly hit the sandbar... And go airborne-

Main Pier - Seafolk Village

-A random trainer with a Primarina is attempting to practice Oceanic Operetta... without a Z-Crystal-

Trainer: "No, no, no! Your singing is supposed to whip up the water towards your foe! Using Hydro Pump is cheating!"

<Primarina: "Uh... Charles. I'm pretty sure that that's more than enough for what we'd need for the open tourn-">

Trainer: "From the top!"

-The Primarina frowns and turns away, beginning to sing as the Trainer watches excitedly-

Trainer: "Yes! Yes! Just like-!"

-Only to hear the sound of shouting, and an engine revving over his seal partner's operatic singing. The trainer looks back in time, to see a boat airborne, sailing down over the main pier-

<Iron Fleet: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!">

Trainer: "Mother of-"

-And is cut off by the ship falling onto the pier, kicking up a massive wave of water and splintered pieces of wharf as the ship comes to a crawling rest against the central tree. The Trainer watches stupified as a wall of seawater comes down on him and the planks of the pier underneath him give way with an audible splash, which -

<Primarina: "Well I'll be! You really don't need a Z-Crystal to learn Oceanic Operetta!">

Trainer: "Ow..."

<Primarina: "Er... That said, maybe the aim needs some work?">

Trainer: "That's enough practice for one day..."

-Back on the ship, all the unfortunate passengers are still in a daze, Hess having been ejected through the windshield of the bridge and onto the bow-

<Hess: "O-Ow...">

-A few seamons who didn't quite make it aboard poke their heads above water of the shattered pier as bystanders poke their heads out incredulously-

<Seadra: "Uh... Captain? I think that now is the time to throw in the towel.">

<Hess: "You don't need to say that twice! Retreat! Retreat!">

-And the Aggron hastily leads a mad charge back for the water, the Pokémon below deck breaking out through a fresh chunk of missing hull to slip into the shallow water, some burdened down with more unconscious comrades than others, and desert the 'ironclad' and leaving the ship barren of pirates-

<Primarina: "... I must be missing something here.">

<???: "Oog... Can the world stop spinning?">

<???: "Are- Are we dead?">

<???: "I think I can see the light!">

-... Mostly, anyways. As the dazed forms of one Eltenios, Pyry, and Pekka stagger on deck and collapse, airing the most eloquent sentiments they can muster...-
