-A Charizard, skin blackened, enlarged claws, and blue flames erupts from the storeroom they ran out from, black wisps of energy mingling with the flames, right in front of the stair case-

Jeremiah: "Weskel here wanted to try something."

Weskel: "Well it worked!"

Jeremiah: "AND NOW IT'S TRYING TO KILL US!"

Verax: "WESKEL I WILL PUNISH YOU LATER BUT THE FUCK"

-The Scizor buzzes a horrible buzz, lifts up the Tyranitar, and hurls it across the room. The Tyranitar collides with the wall and is all but knocked out.-

Scizor used Superpower!

-It twitches, fighting exhaustion with rage after its fight.-

Mason: ...Geez. Brutal.

-The Scizor immediately jerks its head toward the source of Mason's voice.-

-Dekarule narrows his eye, leering at the group.-

-At this point rage and years of training take over, as Lucius is going to raise the gun he dives forward, just under the initial spray, tackling him to the ground-

-In a flash he slams his foot down on the hand with the autopistol, and he kicks it away-

-Drags Lucius to his feet by the collar and slams him into a wall-

"I remember each and every one of them." -He draws Lucius back, turns him parallel to the ground and slams his body down-

"I remember each and every face, name, I know who I ordered to do it and when I did it myself"

-He starts walking back towards the command center wall, grabbing Lucius by the wrists and hauling him up-

"Don't act like you know me. Don't act like you know my motivations. Don't think just because you grew up with daddy issues and died you're always in the fucking right."

-He drops Lucius and promptly pins him to the wall with a sharp punch to the gut-

"... I could do worse. So, so much worse."

-He steps back and drops Lucius- "But I'm better than you. I'm not going to beat you bloody. Congrats. You broke all my stuff. Now leave."

Weskel: "It... kind has the Infinity ball. And I really don't want Blast to die."

Verax: "... well, guys, mandatory overtime is a thing. Time to get back to work." -He starts to walk away and vaguely gestures at the broken glass- "Someone clean this up, please."

Weskel: -He stirs as an Audino and Blissey work on healing him- "I ugh... sorry boss..."

Verax: "... Jeremiah, get him up and to the infirmary."

Jeremiah: "Sure thing. ... You alright?"

Verax: "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'll be more fine once we finish recompiling everything."

Gordes: "Alright gang! I know you all shred all your notes! So! We're gonna take everything down again from scratch!!"

-There's a chorus of groans-

-As Verax climbs the ladder to the first sub-floor, several workers looking at him and then back to healing their mons-

-He gets to the base floor, his actual villa, and goes towards the kitchen when he's suddenly stopped by a tugging at his wrist-

-He looks back to see Ezran-

Ezran: "V. How are holding up?"

Verax: "I'm just fi-" -He's interrupted by a finger being held to his mouth-

Ezran: "I mean honestly. Not what you tell people to just keep morale up."

Verax: "... Is anything ever going to change? I can't... I keep trying and I keep getting sucked back down into this whirlpool of violence and-"

Ezran: "Get out of your armor."

Verax: "... Wat."

Ezran: "Go. Normal clothes. Sit down. The TV. I'll make you some hot cocoa. I'll spike it too. You need the edge taken off."

Verax: "... I. What. What are you-"

Ezran: "Go sit down now. Put on that stupid show with the crass scientist and I'll bring you something to drink, then you'll call Tagg in the morning and we will be fine."

Verax: -After a moment of blank shock- "I... thanks. Really. Thank you."

-She nods as he turns around-
