-The Alakazam vanishes with a blip, then returns a moment later holding two bottles of indeterminate clear spirits. Lucius smiles and takes one.-

Lucius: I can't count on him for much, but I can count on him to enable my bad habits. Don't tell Bishop, he'd flip.

Route 1 Motel

-Diane blinks, and holds back a laugh.-

Diane: Wow, Maul being helpful for anything? Never thought I'd live to see the day.

-She wipes the tears from her eyes, and takes the other bottle.-

Diane: Thanks. Thank you.

Po Town

<Aw, fuck me.>

“REI!” Colton chided before he bit his tongue, realizing he was almost a hypocrite.

Rei contemplated what she could do while staring at the flurry of limbs that was Fitz before she got an idea. It could possibly put her out of battling for weeks, but she was gonna do it.

She aimed to grab a limb so that she could throw the Fighting-Type into the ground. With Anger Point maxing Fitz’s attack, doubtless it would hurt like nothing else.

Route 1 Motel

Maul: ~Don't thank me, thank medicinal solvents.~

Lucius: Huh. I'm... not gonna think about that sentence too hard.

-He takes a swig from his bottle, grimaces, then looks back at Diane.-

Lucius: But seriously, no problem. It's never any trouble if you just need to talk. Or drink. I'm always up for both, so...

Po Town — Past

Fitz: <GET YOUR THIEVING HANDS OFF MY THIEVING HANDS>

-Trying to grab hold of him is unfruitful, because he just starts swinging Rei around wildly in the process.-

-She checks the label on her bottle, then on Lucius's, then switches the two.-

Diane: Best not to test how much accidental poisoning your body can take, yeah?

So... this is it, huh? I see they've gone Unova and Kalos-style.

-And moves forward-

 Sky Chamber 

-Walks in as a barrier prevents me from leaving-

Kahili: -Turns around and walks over- Well Tagg, it looks like we meet again, this time on the field of battle. Let's see if the stories I've heard about you are true, and if the winds will favor you, or me.

-Pulling out a Poké Ball-

Kahili: -Sends out a Skarmory as I send out Lucani-

Rei said nothing.

“Okay, you can swear,” Colton allowed, looking at Rei being flung around before she eventually released herself.

<Bitch! Shit! Cunt! Fuck! Fart!> And then she landed on a wall and slid down, the Scope Lens landing on her face the way it was meant to worn.

And thus she utilized the one move she’d know would work.

Route 1 Motel

Maul: ~It's an experiment.~

Lucius: That was also your justification for filling my shoes with Joltik one morning.

Maul: ~You can't stifle progress.~

-Lucius sighs, then takes a swig of Diane's bottle instead.-

Lucius: Eh, this new body seems pretty durable, and I haven't worn out the warranty yet. I'm sure I'll be fine. Besides, this isn't accidental poisoning, this is deliberate poisoning.

Ever: Go Tagg!

-Ever is doing an elaborate cheer routine, with Narrow and a deeply disgruntled Muninn as backup dancers-

Muninn: <This is demeaning.>

Narrow: <Roll with it!>

-Narrow is, in fact, rolling with it. Just because they're Sensu Style doesn't mean they've forgotten how to rock out-

Kahili: Skarmory, let's start with a Rock Slide!

Skarmory: -Sends out fragments of the arena at Lucani-

Lucani, dodge and use Thunderbolt!

Lucani: -Manages to dodge the chunks of rock and fires a lightning bolt at Skarmory-

Skarmory: -Is brought down to under half health via a lucky crit- <Ack!>

-And fires another Rock Slide to Lucani, making him lose a quarter of his health, before being knocked out by Lucani's second Thunderbolt-

Kahili: Go Crobat!

Crobat: -Appears and fires off a Heat Wave at Lucani, bringing him down to half health-

Lucani: <Ack!>

Rain Dance!

Lucani: -Summons a sudden rainstorm-

Crobat: -Tries another Heat Wave-

Lucani: -Manages to dodge it due to the rain weakening it-

-And drops a Thunder on Crobat-

Crobat: -Faints-

Brie: You know it's really weird that you're doing this, right?

Ever: I'm being supportive!

Brie: I mean, it's not like he knows, right?

Ever: The way I see it, if I can generate a strong enough positive emotion, the feedback in my aura, should, like, materially assist.

Brie: Is that how it works?

Ever: -shrugs-

Brie: ...Well, keep at it, I guess.

Ever: I don't need your permission.

Brie: You've got it.

Ever: ...I'm going to keep dancing, but not because you said I could.

-Narrow blinks at Brie, who blows a raspberry at them and goes back to watching the challenge-

Brie: I always wanted a Crobat, but I feel like I'd be stepping on Amanita's toes...

Skyfire: <I don't think that's how it works.>

Brie: It feels wrong, though.

Kahili: Go Oricorio!

Oricorio: -Appears-

Kahili: Use Hurricane!

...Probably should've thought about that.

Oricorio: -Sends out a windstorm at Lucani-

Lucani: <Oh fu-

-Is brought down to the red, and fires another Thunder, bringing the Baile Oricorio down to under half health, before being fainted by another Hurricane-

Go Legion!

Legion: -Appears- We are Legion!

<For we are MANY!!!>

Surf!

Legion: -Sends out a massive wave at Oricorio-

Oricorio: -Is swamped by the wave and fainted-

Kahili: Mandibuzz!

Mandibuzz: -Appears and tries a Bone Rush, as Legion fires an Ice Beam to counter-

-This continues until the Mandbuzz is knocked out, Legion left at half-health-

Kahili: Toucannon, it's all up to you!

Toucannon: <Hole in one!>

-And fires Bullet Seeds at Legion-

Legion: -Is brought to just over a quarter of her health- <ARGH!>

-She lets off an Ice Beam, bringing Toucannon down to half health-

Kahili: -Does the Flying type Z-Move pose-

Legion: -Is fainted by Toucannon's resulting Supersonic Skystrike-

Pici: -Corkscrews towards Dhelmise beak-first-

Dhelmise: -Loses about under a quarter of his health- <Blast ye, you dirty bird!>

Acerola: Use Rock Slide!

Dhelmise: -Sends pieces of the arena at Pici-

Pici: -Is hit and loses about a quarter as well- <Ack!>

Another Drill Peck!

Pici: -Does so-

Dhelmise: -Is brought down to under half health by it critting, but responds with a Heavy Slam-

Pici: -Is smacked by the giant anchor and is brought down to the red- <I'm not done yet!>

-And faints the Dhelmise with one last Drill Peck-

“You got the advantage last time,” he remarked as he sent out Lucario Sean.
