After he stuffed the pistol into the holster which he spent a few good minutes trying to attach to his waist, Colton returned to the Ink Room, his right hand hovering centimeters from the trigger.

He was actually quite underwhelmed with how sparse it was. Barely even any ink. "A bit of a misnomer, no?" He smirked, looking over the records on the wall. He turned to Terry. "What're ya looking for?" He asked from across the room.

Terry spun his sign, "My voice" was the only thing it said. Petey was digging through as well.

He spun the sign once more, "Watch out for that device, I saw someone go through it once. The results were weird."

Spin, "I think it's the only thing here hooked to the ink machine."

Next to the machine was a old reel that said "TEST FOOTAGE 04"

Silas and his party followed, "So what other things could I do with Aura?" "Form constructs, shoot Aura Spheres, communicate telepathically, it can do a lot. It's kind of like Psychic powers," "Neat."

Snakeye smiled, "You're also a fighting type, so you got a lot of stamina and endurance. That'll help."

The first two words "spoken" were all that needed to be read. "So something marked with your name or your VA's name." He remarked. Now if only I knew who that was.

He pulled out his phone and took it off of Airplane Mode, letting it sync to any possible connection so he could look up info on who voiced who.

It would probably put his phone down to 65 to 70 percent when he was done, whether that was because he got the info or he gave up.

Akala Island - Southern Edge

Unsure of where the trial captain would possibly be, Colton had taken to aimless wandering. He had gone to the leftmost edge of the island, and stumbled on something that looked vaguely like a trial gate.

Maybe they were through here. Hell, he didn't know.

Shaun: "Well, I suppose we should have a pep talk."

Ace: <That seems like a good idea.>

Shaun: "So, except for Jamie, you all remember Sinnoh's Elite Four. Tough opponents, and we lost. But now we have a shot here, and if we can win here, we can win there. Here we have Z-Moves and Jamie. We can't - won't - lose."

Tsunami: <Okay can we go now?>

Jessica: <Yeah! Let's go!>

Lightning: <Um, yeah, Ruby and I will try to win.>

Ruby: <Nonsense, darling. There won't be any try, because we will win.>

-Lightning smiles.-

Jamie: <Ace, I'm nervous.>

Ace: <Well that's to be expected. But as long as you try your best, no one will be disappointed. Besides, look at your lineage. If you inherited even a fraction of your parents' power, you'll be plenty strong.>

Jamie: <I suppose.>

Shaun: "Well, let's go."

Shaun: "Hmm...I'll go right to left."

Shaun: "Well, you aren't a trial captain or a Kahuna."

Kahili: "Well, you're observant. Now..."

-She snaps her fingers, and a green barrier surround the battlefield.-

Kahili: "Let's see who the winds favor today, you...or me."

Shaun: "Alright gold: Lightning, let's do this!"

Kahili: "Spikes."

-The Skarmony throws a bunch of spikes around Lightning.-

Shaun: "Hmmph. Thunderbolt."

-Lightning shoots a Thunderbolt at the Skarmony, who takes about a quarter of damage.-

Kahili: <Steel Wing.>

-The Skarmony's right wing glows as it swoops at Lightning. It doesn't do much damage, but...-

Shaun: "Alright, again!"

-Lightning shoots another Thunderbolt, knocking the Skarmony to half-health.-

Kahili: "Night Slash!"

-The Skarmony's right wing glows black with Obscura as they try to attack Lightning again.-

Lightning: <Ouch! But, I, um, won't lose this easily.>

-She shoots another Thunderbolt.-

Shaun: "Oh boy. One down, 25 to go."

Kahili: "Which means we aren't done yet."

Shaun: "Alright, let's give them a taste of our Z-Power!"

-He flips a yellow Z-Crystal in the air, catches it, and puts it in his Z-Ring.-

Shaun: "Just like we practiced."

-Shaun and Lightning do the same dance in-sync, Lightning slowly being surrounded by her Z-Aura. As they finish, she jumps up in Shaun's arms.-

Shaun: "Ready?"

-Lightning nods.-

Shaun: "Okay!"

-He throws her into the air, where she hovers, spinning in a way reminiscent of Sonic the Sandslash.-

-Lightning crashes into the Mandibuzz, knocking them out instantly.-

Shaun: "Oh thank Palkia it worked. Nice job, Lightning!"

Lightning: <Oh, um, thanks! That was, uh, kinda cool.>

-Sholto eventually stops in front of a building which looks a bit like the Marowak Dojo of Treasure Town, but with more Tsareena-y elements-

Sholto: <Well, this is the place. Good luck with training!>

She noticeable looks more relieved in some way... She's still on edge but at least not shaking. She enters the room with the others and on Terry's cue begin to search for the thing.

The team thanked Sholto and stepped into the Dojo. Hacks was smiling big, "Finally."

Silas looked at him, "Ready?"

"I've been ready ever since I first saw you as a Riolu. We'll start with training your body first, teaching you how to actually fight a fighting type."

Terry stopped, and pointed to a smaller projection unit. He got back to digging, and got to the S Section. He pulled out one for "Sam Downey. Terry Voice Reel" and smiled.

“Well that’s fairly definitive,” Colton decided, reading the note. “So how will this let you speak?” Wait, is Terry actually Sam? He realized. That’d explain his potential to speak unrehearsed lines, he realized.

Terry turned on the projector and displayed the test, it showed Mr. Hunt tossing a hat through the device, out coming a toon equivalent, which promptly melted.

He proceeded to spool his voice reel out and slurp it up. Terry coughed for a minute, actual sound coming from him, then, "Okay been way too long."

"Hello everyone," the voice did not match Terry, or even sound like what he did in the shorts, "My name is Sam Downey. And welcome to my personal hell."

Anyone other than me working with the "these are the V As with a toon coating" theory? Anyway now I'm getting some fun ideas if the toonified are infact subject to toon physics. Anyone got a mallet we can coat?

Colton stared at Terry Sam with as much unease as he did Lena. “Does this mean that Lena, Zach and even Petey are actually the ones that voiced them?” He contemplated.

“Yipes. Do we need to... release them?” He said, choosing his words carefully.

"Well depends on your definition of release. Also I voiced a lot of characters here for the shorts, pretty much everyone from Zachary to Vance of the Koma Gang, so why end out stuck like this? It's not a simple "Toon coating" at all. Hell let me look-"

Sam started digging about, until he opened one of the spare closets holding extra tapes, there on the floor was a skeleton in a old tattered uniform, "There I am!"
